Looking at the archived Facepunch pages brings massive nostalgia.

I made this one, sad nostalgia...
How do I view cached facepunch pages?
Wow, I remember when PHW was still in its prime.
That seems so far away, the Golden Age of Garry's Mod.
Back when imagination filled the gaps that Lua couldn't, amazing content was produced every day.
Kathar's Models? Apostasy? Afro Zombie? Remember when Concerned was still thriving and being read by millions every day? When the Comics section was actually good? Pirate Ship Wars? On Roleplay servers, iconic maps like RP_Bahamut and RP_Hometown1999 were still in use, as was csc_desert? Kenny the Cop? Ravenholm Armory? RP_Cargotown? Rave Man? Jeff? The minor but still amazing Emergence comic series? Stuck in a Bucket? It was a simpler time when your comic skills weren't based on the number of Photoshop edits pumped into each photo, but the story and the characters. People made comics to entertain, not to have people line up and bow down in awe of your endless Timeroller comics. Paying for maps seemed like an arbitrary silliness, but now, endless people line up, desperately clamoring for competent mapmakers.
And the plagues of DarkRP and Wiremod, which dimmed the creative spark of Garry's Mod.
The Golden Era of the Source Engine was so long ago, so fleeting, yet so... incredible.
Man, I feel old.
Reading this post made me sad. Sadly I only got to experience the tail end of this era. I Played Gmod 9 when it was already dying.
Now when I join a server I see people standing in corners coding E2s and and ignoring eachother.
I was listening to Dead memories by Slipknot while looking through the website links on this thread. Made me feel sad :(
My school's website, http://www.merps.k12.mi.us/
And the website of the chick that made my school's website, http://juddweb.net/
I found this website written in Engrish a few days ago, it was something like Bulgarian Dream Property. The weirdest part was that it was a review for The Room - so what already made little sense, was torn into linguistic shreds.
I discovered it by searching 'Tommy Wiseau' in Google images, but I can't find it again. Look out for it.

When I clicked on the link of that chick's website, I shit my pants because of the music. Wasn't expecting it and it was quite loud too. I'm not sure if it was loud for other people but, meh.

This was the shit.

I wonder if I will ever explore facepunches ruins 10 years from now.
http://greenspun.com/ - A family server with a page on each member of the family, some dead ones and their pets. - I couldn't find a solid date, but a family photo has the date 1997 timestamped on it.
It was probably already mentioned, but this site has a post from March 2011.
Not really old, last updated May eighteenth, this year. But looks like it should be in '02.

Oddly enough, found it mentioned in a reddit thread on Yvette's bridal.
I apologize if this was posted already but this site here-
Video Game Director's Cut (enter at your own risk- it's overrun with adverts and junk) an early site of flash-based video game parodies. I don't remember how I stumbled upon that site but it gave me some nice laughs back in 2000 and eventually led me into Newgrounds. I wouldn't recommend trying to search through it unless you use internet archive machine- there's lots of adverts and junk filling it including one that you'll see right away offering to install a search bar. Last update was from 2008 by the domain manager claiming the site is still going healthy.

oh god this one brings back so many memories...

Makes it almost depressing. Because someone got so pumped about something then let it die.
In 20 years time I will remember these days, and perhaps even remember this forum. I might even look for this thread.
Too bad the whole place was abandoned after Garry died.
it was the bloody board, a forum that's no longer around due to /b/ getting their hands on it.

you can read about it here.
also;

I'm not a 100 percent sure what it is though
Read the cracked article, the guy who wear the female masks...THE HORROR :ohdear:
Thinking back to the old days of PHW is really sad, I used to post there loads and even preferred it to here. Now it has completely vanished and no domains exist for it as far as I know. It was such a thriving community with a radio show and all but now it's gone and everyone has moved on. Weird.
www.uiuuii.com is extremely odd (to the point of being seemingly nonsense) and has lots of odd pages.
www.ertdfgcvb.ch
I remember this website from when I was in the first year of secondary school. I'm surprised it still exists.
It's full of different experiments and funny stuff like that.
It looked like this when I used to go on it:

Good Lord.

Kinda like totse
I remember this one forum about Age of Empires 1. It was dead for 5 years and then it got shut down. Used to visit there every now and then to see if anyone else remembered the forums. It was sad, creepy and heart warming at the same time.
