I had the same problem as you about half a year ago, but then by some divine intervention or something I managed to get a job at the local vets. They don't pay me much at all (£3.57 / hour, minimum wage for an under 18) but I work every other Saturday for 6.5 hours so that's £50 a month right there and I have the choice to work every Saturday to get it up to £100.
I'm not sure about laws governing children working in the US, but you should be able to do something like delivering newspapers or something. If your parents don't want you to get a job, they're probably right because you should be concentrating on your studies. You could make huge profits selling snacks at school. Some kids did that at our school and made like £50 a day before they got found out and had to stop. Your school might not mind though, so buy things like chocolate bars and cans of coke in bulk and resell them to your school kids.

Honestly, that's not a bad idea. Ever since they took out the soda machines from our school, students have been bitching about not having it.
What Alcapwne said, me and my friend used to sell coke/candy out of our locker for more than double the cost from the store.
Protip: put some snow in a plastic bag (might wanna doublebag to be safe) then put it in your locker with some coke and sell icecold sodas.

I have earned CCNA certificate when I was 13, and worked as network administrator for big company when I was 14. You can do the same.

When I was back in school I raked in a ton of cash by buying coca cola cans in bulk and selling them for like twice/four times the price until I got bored and drank all my supplies.
A bunch of my own friends like to do business with kids around in their own year level with selling Coca Cola and other soft drinks for a $1 each. (yay for buying in bulk from Costco =D) One locker for your books, another for the drinks, a good reputation and you're bound to make a little bit of money :)
