Glad you were so receptive. I sorta kinda understand the struggle that folks like VIOLATION and "Kath" are going through... but not really at the same time. I'm not sure if one would label me as dysphoric, but I definitely feel like I'm both genders at the same time. Like I'm a coin in that I have two sides. But there are times that I'm clearly a man, but never times that I'm clearly a woman.
It's entirely possible that you're just a crossdresser and not a transgender. I'm not saying you are, but that last statement makes it seem so. And you don't have to go the whole 500 miles and be a full on transgender. If you like wearing girl clothes but like being a big tough dude, then go for it. [editline]a[/editline]
Eh?
Nevermind.
heh, for some of us it's like being a two sided coin that you're having trouble turning over to the other side.
Eh? You mean the struggle?

But yeah, I'm definitely not going to get my hardware chopped anytime soon.
Sounds like you're genderfluid to me.
Then there's the sexuality line... A straight man having sex with a person that was, until recently, a man. What does that make the straight male?
It makes the straight male a straight male. You are having sex with a woman. Doesn't matter if she used to have a dink, she's a woman through and through now. Imo if you seriously think something like "Does having sex with a trans woman make me gay!?" and THAT'S your genuine concern, the issue is with you, not the trans person
The "correct" response to whether having sex with someone you're in a relationship with is "gay" or not ought to be "Who the fuck cares, I love this person". That's what you'd expect from a pansexual, I suppose, but I have a hunch that most emotionally mature people in a relationship with a trans person will come to this conclusion as well. Maybe I'm wrong.

Why can't everyone be pansexual, the world would be friggin' awesome if that were the case. (I'm joking I'm joking. :<)
Why can't everyone be pansexual, the world would be friggin' awesome if that were the case. (I'm joking I'm joking. :<)
It actually would be better if people were born like that, no gay/lesbian/transsexual hate crimes, that sounds awesome to me.
It actually would be better if people were born like that, no gay/lesbian/transsexual hate crimes, that sounds awesome to me.
Mhmm. It'd be a lot harder to stay single if nobody saw gender/sex. [sup][sup][sup]IN MY OPINION[/sup][/sup][/sup]
So I've been really considering cross dressing for a while now and I told my best friend about it and she was ok with it and was really excited and wanted to help me buy stuff and was willing to do my hair and makeup and stuff. The only problem is, well, I'm a really big guy. I'm 6'3", 320lbs, rather broad shouldered and hairy. I also dont have the greatest hair either. Obviously I'd shave my beard and legs and stuff but i really dont know what to do. I don't know what I'd wear or what to do to make myself look good. I just have a feeling I would look as bad as a girl as I would a guy, and that thought has had me down for the past few weeks.

I HAD A SHAVE, not so bearded lady anymore :( Edit: really really big image, DEAL WITH IT <3
You look really, really good.
I love your hair.
It's a bad sign when saying "I can do this" feels odd.
Dem legs.
;39086243']It makes the straight male a straight male. You are having sex with a woman. Doesn't matter if she used to have a dink, she's a woman through and through now. Imo if you seriously think something like "Does having sex with a trans woman make me gay!?" and THAT'S your genuine concern, the issue is with you, not the trans person
I never said it was. I thought the language I used would imply that this is, indeed, the case. This is a relatively new phenonmenon where I live (in that it's only just starting to get to the point to where it will become acceptable to talk about and do,) and I've still never met an openly trans person. But yeah, I think it's very fair to say the problem would lie with me.

If you saw me in the outfit of the pic above, would you even think I was male? Like how can I improve my appearance?
not trans just attracted to that; I have this idea like they'd both know what it's like to be a guy and know how it feels as well as being sensitive and nonjudgmental. what're people's thoughts on this particular opinion of mine?

I'm saying it'd be like having the best of both worlds, like having a tough girlfriend or a sensitive boyfriend but better because they actually experienced the other side of things gender wise.
I'm saying it'd be like having the best of both worlds, like having a tough girlfriend or a sensitive boyfriend but better because they actually experienced the other side of things gender wise.
Just cuz we're trans doesn't mean that we're gonna be tough women or feminine men. That's all part of gender identity. Even cis people can be like that too.
I hadn't thought of that second part but still; traswomen for whatever reason attract me more and I'm unsure why that is.
I hadn't thought of that second part but still; traswomen for whatever reason attract me more and I'm unsure why that is.
That's okay I guess, just be sure not to base the whole thread on that, because people get uncomfortable.
oh no wasn't planning to. just happy there is such a thread.
well it's going to take a lot of work to look good.
how should I start?
If I poke on my nipples, it hurts a little... I like it.
If I poke on my nipples, it hurts a little... I like it.
Hurts, or tickles? Well, I completely chickened out of telling my friend about all of this. I don't know why, if we've been friends for this long, I don't see why this would ruin it. :c
