Crossdressing/Transgender Megathread v. Socks are both a running gag and mandatory

Doing drugs and drinking alcohol is obviously prohibited if you're taking medication just saying that boredom is a major factor in whether someone uses drugs or alcohol. The substances do after all stimulate your senses (not in every case, alcohol to name one).
Nothing better than a nice, peaceful walk home with some nice music whilst being high.
But hey, that's my opinion.

That's fine. But at least research what you're talking about before speaking your mind about it.
But you see, I have done my research many times and have even had classes in school on such a subject. This is not a subject I view lightly.

just stop
It's pointless and positively stupid to do many things in our lives. People think we shouldn't be spending hours a day playing video games but we still do. THC can't kill you. That is a dead fact. It is physically impossible for the chemical itself to kill you even in the long run. It doesn't make any lasting effects on your body either. Really the only long lasting "bad" effect is that your hair MAY start to fall off earlier in your life than normal but that's if you're genetically predisposed to losing your hair at some point in your life anyway. So, no, you're wrong.
It's illegal for no reason. It's stupid that we oppose marijuana when it doesn't kill you and when it's not even addicting when cigarettes and alcohol are both addicting and deadly as fuck and they're legal. And considering I just told you it doesn't interfere with HRT at all then yes, I can.
That's fine. But at least research what you're talking about before speaking your mind about it.
Actually the effects of cannbis are,
Altered Perception of Time (distortion of length and intensity of passage), Anxiety, Anxiety Reduction, Anti-Inflammation (muscular and cellular), Analgesia, Appetite Stimulation, Ataxia (acute episodes, see also "Movement Disorders"), Brochodilation, Decreased Body Temperature, Decreased Occular Pressure, Dysphoria (acute episodes), Depersonalization, Dry Mouth, Euphoria, Enhanced Creativity (accompanied and catalyzed by heightened audio acuity), Enhanced Well-Being, Fatigue, Fragmented Thought, Hallucinations, Hypertension, Hyposalivation, Memory Inhibition (short-term interference, minor long-term inhibition), Motor Inhibition, Neuroprotection, Reddend Conjunctive, Relaxation, Tachycardia, Vasodilation.
And may cause schizophrenia, I seeee no hair loss but feel free to correct me doing certain things like drinking while on HRT could cause blood cloths but for cannabis i dont see a problem.
Also saying its not addicting is wrong.

You should do what you say and research more.

So this doesn't continue derailing any further, let's just agree to disagree. Besides, I find it rather difficult to find this quote honest since you lie a lot.

Actually that's a list of what you may expierence while high. Not long lasting effects/post high side effects.
Also "Cannabis dependence" is a mental thing. Weed does not have any addictive properties so the only way you can get addicted to it is if you feel like you need it to be something (like happy, or be yourself). That's no different than someone consuming large amounts of alcohol because they're depressed (though alcohol can be quite addicting).

I find that rather insulting, so I ask you not to say such things about myself. As I said before, we both have our own opinions on the subject and obviously neither of us can sway each other nor should we try to or need to. I'm not attempting to insult you in any way. All I had wished to do is state my opinion on the subject, etc.

Now has anyone any knowledge on the best way to get to seeing a gender specialist fast?
Now has anyone any knowledge on the best way to get to seeing a gender specialist fast?
Research one on the net or go find a non-gender specialist, tell your story, and see if they can either help you get HRT or see if they can research someone for you and get back to you.
why does everyone think you have to see a gender specialist. usually those are the ones that gatekeep you.
just find a normal therapist and teach them about trans shit and stuff. it aint hard.
[editline]10th January 2013[/editline]
i mean look up that #transdocfail thing on twitter. there's a reason transpeople have the term "gatekeeping"

Because I'd rather speak to someone who already knows what they're doing, etc. I don't find it very appealing to have to teach someone how to do their job and about myself for them to do anything remotely helpful. I'm fine going to a regular therapist to get referred elsewhere but I'd rather not have to teach them everything or most things.
if you do your own research and you know what you're talking about then using them as basicially a quick way to get hrt is the quickest and easiest way i've seen. sure you have to teach them but they can still help with base things like depression and self confidence issues and shit.
seriously just because they dont know everything in a world where trans ignorance is alerady a big thing doesnt mean they aren't remotely helpful

I told her to get pepperspray just in case. I want his eyes to fucking melt out of his sockets if he tries shit with her.
He shouldn't be doing that at all, therapists aren't qualified to judge things like that. I think he's just feeling her up. :s

I've got that feeling. But she needs his okay for everything she wants to do, and they'll be talking about surgeries next time. He also said he wants to talk more about me next time. Oh jeez. She'd better tell him I'll end his miserable life if he touches her.
Look at that, some pictures from the people who took the actual school photos just arrived!

[sp]I think they look pretty bad though, there's one with my hands visible and they look grotesque. I might be starting to dislike this body more and more.[/sp]
Trade me bodies.

annd? you've already proven you look good, so "omg im so ugly!!" is what I feel like you're doing, and its really annoying.
If you're not, then sorry, if so, stfu.
No really, I'm not comfortable with my hands, they look out of place and I wouldn't even post a picture of it.
I came to bitch about that in particular because where else would I turn with something like that?
Sorry if I came off as some attention-starved shitposter, that was not what I was going for.

You don't. Zero's a dick.
That was completely uncalled for. :/
Quick question...
Where do you hide your girly underwear at? I don't mind keeping my girly clothes in my closet, but I don't feel safe putting everything else in my dresser.
I was thinking about just boxing them up and sticking them under a desk or something in my room.

I imagine that's different for everyone. Just put them somewhere either with a lock or somewhere you're pretty damn sure other people won't go snooping in

People in here have issues with self confidence tho :v:

I just have a few skirts and dresses (and one blouse) but I just leave them in plain sight. (Really hilarious to have friends come over who don't know I'm trans and not even notice my bright aqua-ish skirt lying in plain sight. :v:)
I keep my clothes in my wardrobe just like any other girl would.
I used to keep them under all my pants, but my mom's 3rd favorite thing to do is go through my closet and look at everything.
My clothes are scattered in various parts of my room, under my futon there's clothes that have been stained/need washing such as my raincoat that's splattered with bird poop, there's relatively clean clothes hidden inside a military jacket and I basically just mixed the rest up in the closet to avoid suspicion. I hide my panties inside dvd cases of movies that are very bad - so far no one has dared to watch 2012:doomsday and if they do shame on them.
