How did you develop tinnitus in the first place? (ouch)
dunno i've had it for as long as i can remember but i frequently want to gouge out my ears
Stop fighting, you're tearing this family apart :(
I could post something Tommy Wiseau related but nah man, time and a place.
oh my fucking god is it possible for HRT to make my tinnitus worse because if thats the case i might have to stop fuuuuuuuuck me alright how long do i have to be without the pills to test if they're causing it
no, it cant make it worse.
I started transition at twenty-seven, for reference. It's never too late to start! You'll get best results earlier than later, though.
no, it cant make it worse.
well my tinnitus started getting worse a few days after starting hrt so do you have any proof? (i'm not trying to sound like a dick, but i really need to be sure. if e is the cause maybe another brand won't cause it or something, i don't know. i'm not a doctor)
Check out the contraindications of your medications. To my knowledge there shouldn't be any exacerbation of your condition, however.
no science here but it sounds silly to have any effect for taking hormones for few days. [editline]30th January 2013[/editline] also did you talk about this with your doctor?
no science here but it sounds silly to have any effect for taking hormones for few days. [editline]30th January 2013[/editline] also did you talk about this with your doctor?
i'm gonna call her tomorrow, can't really go visit [editline]30th January 2013[/editline] brilliant
yeah i know :v: anyway if they go full retarded and tell you to stop taking your hormones if they dont know what the real reason is you should continue taking them since it might just be by chance that you have been having problems. though going off hormones would be simple it would be such a shame to quit (i wouldn't though i dont know much about how bad the tinnitus is for you) [editline]30th January 2013[/editline] usually im always amused about anything transrelated even if its rude towards us but this is just stupid http://www.complicity.co.uk/blog/2013/01/transdocfail-lowlight/
There's some homeopathic remedies for tinnitus.
lmao homeopathy
lmao homeopathy
Regardless of whether or not it works, the placebo affect that it often has can be valuable, no need to be a dick about it.
placebo doesnt work if you are aware of it
There's some homeopathic remedies for tinnitus.
I don't think drinking water would help much. :<
placebo doesnt work if you are aware of it
Well that's pretty much by definition, if someone believes homeopathy is going to work, it will probably have some sort of positive effect (albeit very little and at quiet a high cost considering)
Regardless of whether or not it works, the placebo affect that it often has can be valuable, no need to be a dick about it.
so how does this justify homeopathy
When people believe that stuff like homeopathy'll help something serious, that's when bad stuff happens.
so how does this justify homeopathy
I'm not saying it's in any way justified, and I am frankly against it, just saying there is no reason to be a cunt because someone believes in it, we're mostly adults here, and we should act like it
ehhh what has homeopathy ever done to you placebo is surprisingly strong so i dont see why not use it for people who dont know about it (obviously if there are better medicines they should be used) i just read that my toothpaste has an active ingredient of potassium nitrate am i going to die i have been using it for all my life
When people believe that stuff like homeopathy'll help something serious, that's when bad stuff happens.
Exactly why I disagree with homeopathy [editline]automerge[/editline] My automerge!
I'm not saying it's in any way justified, and I am frankly against it, just saying there is no reason to be a cunt because someone believes in it, we're mostly adults here, and we should act like it
yeah but i dont like it when people give fallacious medical information, especially in a thread like this where you kind of have to be given accurate and reliable information on medicines.
I'm not saying it's in any way justified, and I am frankly against it, just saying there is no reason to be a cunt because someone believes in it, we're mostly adults here, and we should act like it
You do realize you're talking to Sobotnik right? Besides I'd never recommend homeopathic treatment for serious conditions but its not like tinnitus is some deadly disease or anything. It's not like giving it a try to help with tinnitus is going to kill you. You could also try other methods like just playing some low-sounding white noise from a music player while you sleep which should cause your ears to stop ringing.
lmao homeopathy
thank you for trying to start another argument. you've done it. you've made us all proud. congratulations. i'd tell you to get out but you don't really listen to anyone but yourself. atleast in this case you're right on homeopathy being stupid as hell.
there are different types of tinnitus and many of them have a completely different reason why they appear in the first place.. its impossible to get the reliable and accurate information for what medicine to take in a case like this.
You do realize you're talking to Sobotnik right? Besides I'd never recommend homeopathic treatment for serious conditions but its not like tinnitus is some deadly disease or anything. It's not like giving it a try to cure tinnitus is going to kill you.
It's never ok to prescribe somebody homeopathic medicine, because in turn if you suggested something that has no medical efficacy, I will also doubt any other medicine you suggest for things.
tell that to your doctor...
tell that to your doctor...
I'd be asking serious questions if my doctor started prescribing me dodgy medicines too.
can someone go more into detail about what dark soda is?
can someone go more into detail about what dark soda is?
eh, cola and everything similar i guess puddy said to avoid dark soda for potassium right? why so, its just like any other soda but it has just been colored
