i feel bad for literally everyone but one person accepting me being trans so easy
Damn that #TransDocFail sounds depressing Self medding seems the easiest.
I love trans. They're really cool. Some of my dearest friends are trans too. Oh wait, that's trains.
I love trans. They're really cool. Some of my dearest friends are trans too. Oh wait, that's trains.
Trains are cool and all, but not really the place for it. I'm not transgender, but been learning a fair bit about it from here and friends. I'm still unsure of how age factors in on transitioning. I've heard around 25 would be too late to get any strong effects, but also that it's never too late to actually start it, but there are ages where it may be dulled afterwards. I actually didn't know it existed until one of my friends came out as transgender. I handled it so badly and will regret it forever. Now I just attempt to learn what I can to understand it better for them.
I'm thinking its due to the affects of testosterone and the younger the easier it is to reverse?
At 25 you're still going to get amazing changes. See my before and after and I started at 27. Pills are magic.
Today I was informed that the tg-specialised clinic in Huddinge had received my remittance and would contact me within (approximately) three months. Finally something is happening!

Now if that doesn't make you smile, nothing can.
He's cute. c:
I recently decided that I want to look more androgynous. I'm gender-neutral but I look very very male. How should I go about doing this?
Start speaking in head voice. As for appearance, it matters where your starting point is...

I recently cut off my hair that was past my collar bones and wouldn't mind looking more androgynous with short hair.
Start speaking in head voice. As for appearance, it matters where your starting point is...
What's head voice?
Range between chest (normal male register) and falsetto. Think of it as the register key on a clarinet.
I've been finding that the more you work the muscles, the better your voice sounds
Well, I come out to my mom (more specifically, long story short, she asked me if I was trans), and she told my sister (she had suggested it to my mom years ago too). The other day she gave me some of her tops she doesn't want anymore :v: Either way, this is my favourite top out of what she gave me (I'm pre HRT, and live in UK so I'll probably end up DIYing but I'm going to see my GP soon): [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8063726/Pictures/src/2013-02-02%2000.22.10.jpg[/t]

holy fuck
Well this has been one shitty week. Constant rejections from prospective landlords. Fear of possibly having to drop out of uni. The situation with the people i'm staying with getting worse. Sleeping the the sofa. Sleeping on the floor. Not being able to sleep at all. Getting ill with a fever. My mental state getting worse and worse each day. And now I've cut a chunk out of my thumb on a fucking soup can (cursed ring-pulls). At least the sight of blood, lots of blood, has seemed to snap me out of suicidal thoughts for a while.
I'm amazed that this is legal. I've always had dreams of finding camps like this, and liberating them with a team of navy seals like they're some kind of concentration camp.

This sort of thing is why the standards of care are really very questionable in the first place, when lunatics like that are allowed to call the shots. It's a good thing then, I s'pose, that it's possible to undergo the entire spectrum of male to female transition without the aide of those guidelines. Self-medicate, monitor your own blood work, track your own progress and then hit one of the Thai doctors for any surgical intervention you might desire. The DSM, despite being one of my favorite reads, is flawed in so many ways.
i've brought up kenneth a few times, including when the dsm changed to basically fuck us over with "transvestic fetishism" talking about how he was head of the lgbt part of the dsm and he shouldn't be
Does anyone know where you can get cheap finestride/dutaestride? Because my doctor prescribed it but it wasn't covered by insurance so I never got it.
It's about $25 per month supply on inhousepharmacy.

Visiting one of them before starting transitioning (and during) is a very wise thing to do.

And I thought I'm too retarded to be a doctor.
Wouldn't you look at that. [t]http://www.imgur.com/ae1Z8go.jpeg[/t]
