This sort of thing is why the standards of care are really very questionable in the first place, when lunatics like that are allowed to call the shots. It's a good thing then, I s'pose, that it's possible to undergo the entire spectrum of male to female transition without the aide of those guidelines. Self-medicate, monitor your own blood work, track your own progress and then hit one of the Thai doctors for any surgical intervention you might desire.
The DSM, despite being one of my favorite reads, is flawed in so many ways.
Can we like, make him die in an accidental car accident?

I dunno, planning murder seems kinda. Extreme.

Give it to the Dota 2 bot which collects and gives Dota 2 invites or sell them on the Steam Market for $0,01 :v:
On-topic: You people really have very nice legs. My legs are literally a damn jungle of hair, if I were to shave them it will probably hurt... A lot.
I really don't have much or any hair above my knees and not too too much below. Pretty happy about that even if I usually wear tights and stuff.
I think this is one of the only pictures I've taken without them on;

Also I'm not sure if I've ever posted that picture before so sorry if I did. And my apologies for my terribly unsteady hand (again).

Hm... maybe you'd want to trim your leg hairs before actually shaving them? I tried shaving them after they were ridiculously hairy, and along with a few shaving injuries, my shower was completely filled with leg hair afterwards, it was pretty disgusting.

So this is me at 18 pre-HRT (MtF)

Any ideas how I'll turn out? My friends say I'm unbelievably lucky because my waist is actually closer to my boobs than my beltline, which is apparently really odd for males. I thought it was normal.
Shame about Pudding~, I liked her.
She didn't die :v:
She just left the skype chat.

Fuckin' <3 panties :v:
Also I can probably start HRT whenever I want, but I want to get on anxiety meds for a little while first
I was told by a fellow poster in this thread that it would be a good idea to apologize to the posters and lurkers in this thread.
In case you didn't know, I was a huge cunt towards MtF transgendered people. Saying dumb things you would see in most transphobic posts by facepunchers. I'm not going to list them because even typing them up disgusts me now. I was an under-educated cunt about the whole issue and lacked empathy. I have apologized countless times towards individual people, but never had the guts to apologize in this thread. Basically, I'm trying to say sorry here but I'm not really good at writing apologies.
My corrupt views changed when I was educated by a random person who saw my posts. She told me that it was really tough shit when you're born in the wrong body. She was constantly [del]bullied[/del] harassed in school and "exiled" by her parents. She also gave me a few valid links towards research articles about transgenderism. She goes to a different school now because she was on the brink of suicide at that time when dealing with all that dumb shit. I just felt so bad when she spoke to me over the mic. Hearing a person's tone and mood when they're speaking about something awful is way fucking more emotional than reading it in simple grey text.
I'm really sorry for being a massive fuckwit. I'm hoping that some of you could forgive me, if not, I'm sorry I can't type this post any better when it comes to expressing my sympathy.
Good thing I changed my views because about some time ago I found out my sister wanted a sex change. Before anyone says anything, she wants to still be identified as a girl until she gets her operation. I support her decision fully because I have always loved her. Right now I'm worried for her because she is skipping school because she's depressed and she's not telling why.
this is rather awesome to hear
you are one in a million
that was nice, really nice.
Good job rofl.
It's been a while since I've posted here.
Closing in on six months of HRT...surgery is starting to become more and more necessary as time goes on. I have to change my legal documentation soon if I don't want to face discrimination. If my job ever found out...I would lose just about everything. I'm close to reaching Assistant Manager at a grocery store, but I know that I'll lose that if they ever find out about my past. It scares me to death. I do some burlesque on the side for food/gas money, but the store is my main savings support.
School is something I have to put on the backburner. I refuse to have one more piece of documentation with an "M" on it, so I have to fix that before I enroll in college. I can't stand the dirty looks and snide remarks from the staff at my high school, I can't deal with it for another 4-6 years. And changing that marker requires me to somehow get $30,000...so I guess I'll be working for a while.
It's hard to find enjoyment or support when you're this busy and fearful all day. I'm lucky if my mother and father will reply to a text, and my sister hasn't spoken to me since a few days before Halloween. I'm just thankful that I have a very good friend to help me out. Living like this is...not very easy. If you have resources and support, please please please use them. Don't take supportive family for granted, ever. It's a very valuable thing.
You're lucky. You at least still have views of your future, and the ambition to keep going and make it better.
I'm kinda just stumbling around now. Lost pretty much all hope and ambition. I have almost no support, and I know I'm not going anywhere in any aspect of life. I've pretty much given up.
There is always two sides of the coin.
Luafox took me under her wing to go shopping in Stockholm.
She's such a sweetie :3
