Size 12!? Dam'n that sucks. And I thought being a size 10 was hard enough. I just sold my DM Purple Darcie boots cuz they were a size 9 and well, i could /still/ get my feet in them. They were fucking cute, but it wasn't meant to be. The future plan is wear plain black Army boots as I can still fit in with the alt scene here in London or buy unisex white converse and custom the fuck out of them. Get acrylics and decorative "gemstones" and craft some flowers and shit. Gunna be really pretty. probably. OH and my first therapist appointment is tomorrow, I'm frelling terrified, and pretty excited. That and lack of sleep due to nerves and uni assignments is making me lose my mind a little.
I just had my fist therapist appointment today and it went great. don't worry it's their job to listen and help, they aren't going to judge you or anything. there's nothing to be afraid of. also good luck! also also I've very small feet, size 8 1/2 US

I'm Size 9 UK, 43 EU Male and then Size 7-8 UK Female.
"Hi Everypony" [X]
Its a joke among /r/asktransgender IIRC.
I'm back from the first visit to the therapist. It was pretty underwhelming and a bit confusing. The NHS seemed to have messed up my details so the guy had no idea what I was there for. So I had to explain everything. It was clear he had little or no experience with transgenders as he kept calling me 'sir' throughout and I guess he was trying to gauge my sanity or something. When we did talk about it all his questions were done from a sexual angle and he kept trying to question me on my sexual preferences and experience. I was starting to feel like he thought being trans was some kind of perversion or something. At the end of it I was told I would be referred on to somewhere else and I just need to be patient, so I guess it wasn't all bad. He told me "I'm not mad, but I need to be more stable" whatever that means.
Can't you ask him to call you something else?
Well it's a little too late now, I doubt I'll see him again, I just found the whole thing a bit uncomfortable.
From what I've heard the NHS is really shit about trans stuff.
From what I've heard the NHS is really shit about trans stuff.
Howso?
Few people I know have had to go through a lot of unnecessary waiting and general bullshit from the NHS.
Few people I know have had to go through a lot of unnecessary waiting and general bullshit from the NHS.
How to speed it up?
How to speed it up?
Go private.
Go private.
Sod that, I'm a Socialist.
How to speed it up?
There isn't. If you self med they don't help you ever again trans-wise supposedly. So pretty much if the NHS Gatekeeps you, you just have to deal with it. [editline]hi[/editline] Oh cool. Pagequeen.
I got gated by the NHS for "mental health issues" and they basically said "your identity disorder may be making you think you're transgender". Hasn't stopped me constantly going on at them about it though.
im not looking forward to going though the NHS when im ready
I feel like I wanna post more in this thread, but I can just never find something to say. If that makes sense.
Post bout socks Suddenly you're a major part of the thread
Post bout socks Suddenly you're a major part of the thread
If I take enough pictures of me in my underwar, people will love me right? Right.
I feel like I wanna post more in this thread, but I can just never find something to say. If that makes sense.
Just wait for a chance lol. No need to thrust yourself in all the time. Wait for something you can respond to or just start your own topic.
Post bout socks Suddenly you're a major part of the thread
Called sawks you dingus
I feel like I wanna post more in this thread, but I can just never find something to say. If that makes sense.
I mostly lurk myself. Most of the time (except recently) when I post I end up making myself look like an asshole even though that's far from my intention. Just wait for something that you find worth responding to or try to start some conversation yourself.
Someone post pictures so we can start another "omg 2 qt 4 me!!!!" type of discussion that everybody loves.

She is helping me with some self esteem issues, and thanks to her, I worked up the courage to tell my friends.
I've basically forced myself to tell my family I'm trans now. I shaved my arms and my mom will almost certainly notice it when I walk through the living room for coffee tomorrow morning. Also just linked one of my irl best friends this post. Let's see how that goes. I won't know until either tomorrow morning or, if he doesn't check Steam before work, tomorrow evening.
