Except how it was worded was offensive. Transsexual man, not Transwomen/Transman or other more proper ways of saying it.

Well fuck me but isn't saying transman more offensive? Being that it's slang? Saying "transsexual" seems to have more of a formality and appropro-ness about it.
if a person wants to be informally referred to as a female, then it's pretty respectful to take that account, and incredibly disrespectful to do otherwise
There's also a point where people take things too personally and overreact to things incredibly quickly.
I feel that I was born with one one penis too many.
Are you an echidna?
There's this transsexual who goes to my school who's named Matt but goes by Maddie.
For a second there I thought this was me, seeing as I changed my name to Madison, nickname Maddie, and my name at birth was Matthew
:v:
Meet a woman who had transitioned a few years ago while getting coffee, seemed pretty nice and we talked about Dark Souls for an hour.

How much easier things become when you find some one who loves you :3
i feel so relaxed now and even though i know its going to be rough going though the NHS, at least i have some one to support me though it
Well I'll be gone for a week to backcountry Alabama to see my dying grandma. And app my aunts and my 1 uncle.

When there's a transsexual in the room and you're a teacher who's presumably been informed of how not to be an ass there's no reason to word it like that. Sure she didn't need to make a big deal about it but the teacher should have also used their damn brain.
Nyeh, I have a really hard time shaving my body. Would it be worth getting an electric shaver for the job?
it wont do the job as well, try a 5 bladed gillette if you haven't
Dunno whether I'd be sold one (not sure whether they have age restrictions, can a fellow Brit confirm this for me?)
razors don't have age restrictions last I checked, only time I've been ID'd for buying anything blade-like is when I got a new breadknife
They're admitted somewhere to be kept under surveillance.

I see the point but I was making a suggestion. I really don't know any other TV show or movie that doesn't make transgender people the butt of a joke/whores/ridiculous looking.
Maybe it's a bit sad that the second least offensive portrayal of transgender people I know is on the IT Crowd.
I found the IT Crowd one really offensive though, idk when she just reverts to male fighting behavior for comedy reasons that's pretty degrading
[editline]22nd December 2012[/editline]
well the whole thing's played for comedy I don't see how that's a good portrayal at all
Well I didn't say good, just second least offensive.
I'm a straight transguy, been so all my life (since I was 2) and I've had a couple girlfriends in the past. But about a year back or so I met a guy who makes me feel like a girl like I never felt before. I just wanna shave my body and look pretty for him. I even want to get a bra. What the fuck is wrong with me?
Maybe it's a bit sad that the second least offensive portrayal of transgender people is on the IT Crowd.
You mean the one where a guy dates a girl who admits she used to be a man, the guy is ok with it, then later on in the episode he thought she said, "I used to live in Iran," and then they had a brutal fight scene?
Oh yeah, I might as well tell you girls and guys here one facepunch that I feel that I was born with one one penis too many. I think that it would help me with me social transitioning.
That can imply a multitude of things.

That's the one.

Oh looks like I forgot some words, I can see someone might've taken this out of the context I intended.
Dunno whether I'd be sold one (not sure whether they have age restrictions, can a fellow Brit confirm this for me?)
They wont ask, there is a lot of stuff you'd think they might considering how much of a nanny state we our but razors are one they don't.

Could be bisexual. And you possibly might be a crossdressing femboy.
I'm not LGBT but I remember crossdressing at this camp I used to go to called John Hopkins CTY where they would have a "drag day"-the guys and girls would swap clothes for a day and the end result was hilarious.
Needless to say it was pretty fun :D I remember one African American girl had a snapback, plaid shirt and baggy jeans, and she was calling all the guys her "bitches" and "hoes" and she kept throwing money at us.

I wouldn't mind someone calling me that if they threw money at me c;
So. Alot of shit has been happening. Last last week my girlfriend left me. I was really sad.
Then i had a talk with a lesbian woman, she had had a MtF girlfriend. We talked for a bit and it just clicked for me. My whole life i have been repressing theese thoughts! I dunno. I just admitted it to myself. And i felt much better. I have had personality things and racing thoughts my whole life, now that i have admitted this to myself all that is gone!
So the weekend after i got out to one of my IRL friends, a lesbian girl. She's giving me so much support. Just like my whole net friend circle does. Except she can actually help me buy clothes! :D
I dunno i could have described this much better but damn.
So, im joining the club girls.
Take a wild guess at what I tired to imply with that.
You were born with two penises and all your SO's have made fun of you for it and you want one of them gone so you can feel more "normal"? :v:
I'm a straight transguy, been so all my life (since I was 2)
wait WTF
Why would I post about having 2 penises in this thread?
Who knows! v:v:v

Correct me if I'm wrong, plants, but I'm assuming he means he's an FtM that's attracted to females.

Oh. A lot of people know they're trans since very young ages. Though I agree 2 is a little early... most people don't have memories before about 5.
I remember being born and it made me straight.
