At first I was like  then when the robo-daddy threw the guy out the window to see Columbia :aaaaa: I am definitely looking forward to this!
Booker develops a relationship with Elizabeth, augmenting his abilities with hers so the pair may escape from a city that is literally falling from the sky
Don't take my word for it, but I think there is a chance there might be 2-player co-op in this game.
No. They didn't. Also, I call it sub-par because the first game was a typical FPS with some stupid magic thrown on it, second one was just shitty and I dropped it after 30 minutes.
Cool story appreciation bro.
The only thing i'm worried about is that setting a game in the sky won't give the same claustrophbic atmosphere that made bioshock so good. However, the falling in the vido what quite thrilling. To sum op, holy shit. Can't wait.
I thought this would be an infinitely-long trailer.
Has a pretty awesome style to it all though.

I looked up more info on this. We'll have to wait till 2012 for this awesome game. :frown:
Do you think you might play as young Ryan? Or is it too early for him?
Do you think you might play as young Ryan? Or is it too early for him?
No Your playing as a new character. The guy your playing as is a Former Pinkerton agent named Booker DeWitt.
uh. bioshock 1 was also by this studio?
Oh, fuck me, you're right. I was thinking 2K Marin because of the sequel.
I don't like the fact that they announced another one so soon. Full blow sequels need time for new technology and fresh ideas. BioShock 2 just felt like more BioShock, expect the story wasn't as good.
Can't wait. Loved both Bioshock 1 and 2.

He also speculated on any follow-ups mimicking the development cycle of Grand Theft Auto, with a new release expected every two to three years. 2K's president Christoph Hartmann stated that BioShock could have 5 sequels, comparing the franchise to the Star Wars movies.

I found this in a Wikipedia article
mother fucking bull shit

I'm going to rationalize it by saying that it's been three years since Bioshock and that Bioshock 2 doesn't count.
It looks sweet. But Rapture was the point of Bioshock and now they've moved the scenario, what the fuck is the point.
It looks sweet. But Rapture was the point of Bioshock and now they've moved the scenario, what the fuck is the point.
We will just have to wait and see, because they said there is a connection.
And there going to probably work on it during 2011. so I have high hopes for it.
If you don't like any of the Bioshocks then why are you here? You don't go into an Portal 2 thread saying that it's a generic puzzle game (which it isn't) so why are you in a Bioshock thread saying that they all suck?
Because that's my opinion. Arguing 'don't comment on things you don't like' is a horrible argument, really.
This can either be really bad, or really good. I'm hoping for the better, this looks like it has some good potential in it.
Cool story appreciation bro.
I don't even know the story, because I couldn't care less about it. I trudged through the entirety of the first game, but I didn't feel anything for characters, didn't give a shit. If a story fails to interest me and I don't even remember it, that's the fault of the writers, not mine.

Despite obvious doubts: Do want
I thought on the Irrational Behavior podcast they said they were doing a completely new IP? Kind of disappointed I guess. Still, an original setting (albeit one that does not interest me).
How does no one suddenly care about steampunk this is ridiculous.
Looks interesting, since its the same company that made SS2, and same team that did Bioshock 1, I think the devs are gonna make this very appealing once it gets closer to release, which is 2 years away.
