A remaster done right is one that adds new features, fixes gameplay issues and in general adds more content to explore. I wish ND did this with TLOU.
Anna is a bug that needs to be patched out of Last Light.
I played both games in 1 go and guess what ? i will play redux in 1 go
Anna is a bug that needs to be patched out of Last Light.
But boobs.
But boobs.
But terrible near-arbitrary subplot that cheeses things the fuck up so [sp]Artyom can have a babbubis.[/sp]
Anna is a bug that needs to be patched out of Last Light.
they should replace her model with Khan but keep the voice, just replace the model
Looks like it's pretty much 2033 levels in LL.
Ive been meaning to replay 2033 and finish LL. This is perfect.
damn i wish i could run this shit on a GTX 650 but
So what does Spartan mode do exactly?
So are Survival, Spartan and Ranger all separate or do you get Ranger-Survival and Ranger-Spartan?
Would it be possible for me to play on Ranger Survival Normal? I want the game to be immersive and challenging, but not overly frustrating. [editline]9th August 2014[/editline] Muh merge.

[editline]9th August 2014[/editline] Muh merge.
I find the frustrations in the Metro games to be just the balance itself, not the modes you play or the difficulty. Seriously, the hardest parts in LL were simply the game not telling you what to do. So you run around for fucking ever not knowing what the magic thing to do is. Or sometimes it's magically simple. Like the Mama bear or the rhino thing. You just shoot it. Even though the arena seems to set it up to be like a classic boss battle. Nope, just switch to military and shoot it. [editline]9th August 2014[/editline]
I'm still dying to know if they changed that awful amoeba section in Metro 2033. Hands down the worst part of the game.
I didn't know what you were talking about and then I looked it up. Those pieces of shit ruined the entire game for me.
I'm really excited for this because I could never get into 2033 because a lot of the mechanics didn't feel great ie busted stealth and what not but I loved Last Light, this'll give me another chance to get through 2033 woo! (Also fun fact, I've paid a total of $1.01 for both 2033 and Last light, I got 2033 in a humble bundle, and got Last Light for a penny because of a best buy fuck up.)
So what does Spartan mode do exactly?
Makes the gameplay more like LL.
Just in time for my new GFX Card woop woop
This is gonna wreck my PC if I attempt anything above high. Still going to immensely enjoy it though.

...did they replace the cool 2033 watch with the ugly digital version in the redux? Please say it's optional. :(
...did they replace the cool 2033 watch with the ugly digital version in the redux? Please say it's optional. :(
You can swap between them. The first trailer has the 2033 watch.
I kinda hoped the devs would finally make a more advanced video options menu... The "Quality" option sucks ass.

Please say it's optional. :(
The watch in 2033 was terrible, half the time it was too dark to read the damn thing. Also, it isn't a digital watch in Last Light, it's nixie tubes, which are great.
honestly the main thing i'm looking forward to is more art assets. the attention to detail is amazing on some of those models

It glows in the dark how in the hell is it too dark to see?

Glad they remade the 2033 Hud.The original game's hud look even worse than Half-Life 2 HUD.
Glad they remade the 2033 Hud.The original game's hud look even worse than Half-Life 2 HUD.
Metro 2033 had a HUD? I never played it in anything but Ranger Hardcore, so I wouldn't know. :v:
Metro 2033 had a HUD? I never played it in anything but Ranger Hardcore, so I wouldn't know. :v:
That is why you don't know. Ranger mode disable the HUD.
I thought the black librarians were supposed to be insanely aggressive and would attack you even if you did stare them down. Everytime I played the black librarians would instantly attack me even if I was staring at them (the other librarians did not but they would move closer to me and if they got close enough they would switch to aggressive).
I thought this was not a stare down but due to the fact that the librarians are nearly blind and thus rely on sound (hence the name). So if you are right in front of them and don't make any noise, they would just stand still and wait for you to reveal your position.
I'm pretty sure they're called Librarians because they're in the library.
