Fat people are fat because they eat too much for how many calories they burn during there regular day.
It's that simple.
I'm 15 and I eat more cal's then I burn because I'm bulking for football.
You can eat a lot and like a fatass but you need to have a heavy ass cardio/and or weightlifting program. Currently 210 and bulking to 225. I had ab's at 190-195 during wrestling just saying.

I'm fat but I'm trying to lose my weight. I walk for about an hour a day, bike for about an hour and do 10-20 push ups when I wake up and before I sleep.
It's just taking it's sweet time going down. I've cut 75% of the junk out of my life too :)

I'd eat about 200 under your maintenance level. And walking won't do much, but the biking will if it is intense, as in your sweating through your shirt shit. The push up's won't do much, I'd go to the gym and bench/squat/dead.

Abs are made in the kitchen. You simply won't see your abs until you cut down your bodyfat low enough. For most people they start seeing them around 12-13%.

Well OP, I am all 1-4 on your original post. I am, however, built like a football player (American Football, though) I'm 6' and 275. I'm mostly built on my legs and shoulders. I got a bit of jelly in the belly, but (high school) football this year and working out in the off season should help.

I dont believe that you only did 10 situps a day for a week and lost an inch of fat.
I was put on medication that did it for me.
The more weight I gained, the less energy I had for physical activity. That went on for awhile plus I since I spent more time inside, I watched more TV and started playing Video Games more often.
Now I'm not saying it's not at all fault, I ate more than I should have (developed habits of eating when bored / upset) and I should have tried to do something about it when it started happening. But the medication is what really got the ball rolling.
Genes do not make you fat or skinny. Genes can hurt or help your metabolism. Having a bad metabolism is no excuse for being fat. It's not that difficult to stay skinny as long as you exercise and eat relatively healthy foods (You don't need to be a health food nut, just don't stuff your face with hohos and twinkies). Fatness is caused by laziness.
Obviously is you have a medical disorder or you're on medication that makes you fat, then there's nothing you can really do. I'm not talking about those people.
Say you have big muscles.
Three words for fat people:
