I'm minorly chubby but the reason for that isn't because i have a slow metabolism or because i overeat. It's just general fat and muscle.
maybe it's in their genes? or just lazyness etc...
Btw ironic how you have kfc in your avatar lol
being fat isn't in your genes but in most cases is somewhat related as most people will eat and like to eat what their parents gave them when they were a kid (so long as it's something that isn't terrible), so when they're adult they'll eat the same thing.
so when parents give their kids a shit load of happy meals, they'll grow up liking the filth that spews out of mcdonalds

Did you read his last post? I was lost after three words.
fat people. do you care about matabolism? because you are seriously unfit if..
1: you cant do five pushups, and none of your body parts are broken, if they break under your weight your a disgusting slob and deserve it
2:you cant look straight down while naked and see your genitals
3: if your fat bounces noticably upon movement (fuck me for stating the obvious)
4: if you usualy land on your face attempting a handstand, or are scared to do a handstand (edit, i dont mean a propper handstand- half a second and landing on your feet is enough)
5 when you have to buy two seats for a plane
none of this should be news to anyone, but seriously, how can people get fat? i once thought i had over an inch of fat on my stomach, so i did around 10 situps every day for around a week and i lost it all. its not hard.
metabolisms can be raised by increasing your muscle to fat ratio, so jog on if you are going to say that (literally jog).
i, as a male, have low standards for women. aslong as they arent a bitch, stupid as fuck or fat i am fine (id like a warped sense of humour, but that probably wont happen)
nobody needs miracle diets or even to go to a gym, they just need to eat less shit and do a few pushupps/situps.
That's a bit incorrect. It's not even necessarily how much you eat, unless you eat way too much. It's what you eat, how much of certain types of food, and eating foods rich in fat.
The only way to build muscle is to eat plenty of food that is supportive of your body in producing muscle, and then exercise accordingly.
Me and and my friends went to BK every day this past summer and ordered around 4 value meals each time. One of my friends stopped skating and got obese as shit, but he's skating again and is losing the weight almost as fast as he's losing money for snapping boards.
It wasn't so much the grammar as it was the point he was trying to make. I'm just lost.

You called me a slob and saying that I deserve to have weak arms. I'm not fat, you're making stupid under-thought generalizations about people on the Internet.
and saying that I deserve to have weak arms.
Making assumptions will take you far in life.
Alas, I am not part of any of those groups, I'm simply an open-minded person defending a particular lifestyle from a particularly ignorant person. But overweight people have a pretty damn good reason to be pissed at you, you're telling them they're wrong for the way they are, regardless if it's their fault or not, and if they are just comfortable with who they are.
Also, "close to a person who is overweight"? We should stay away from fat people now?
im a big guy, but i don't fit into any of those things.
if you cant do five pushups, and none of your body parts are broken, if they break under your weight your a disgusting slob and deserve it
Yeah.
There is a difference. Either you ARE fat, or you choose to be obese. I am not fat, but I respect chubby people. I don't care if you are fat, just don't get near me if you are obese.

1: i am a VERY open minded person. but there are four things i have concrete in my head
1: drugs=bad
2: Half of all Americans=wankers (everyone else is ok,including kiwis and
the french) (dont reply to this)
3:genetic and unchangeable faults in people i have to accept, but if they can change their faults then they must at least try. (being fat has more negative things than positive things, therefor is a fault)
4: on both facepunch and steam powered forums- i will use poor grammar so i can eternaly piss of some twat
close to a fat person? i meant "if your best friend or sister was morbidly obese"

To #2: Are you trying to be funny in a legitimate debate?
To #3: That's only true if being fat is creating a negative effect on their health, such as diabetes.
Also, that's like saying being gay is a fault because homosexuals have a higher risk of getting AIDs.

People get fat because when they're young their parents or whoever takes care of them doesn't look after them properly and they eat too much, and when they get older and fatter, doing exercise is so tiresome for them that they rarely bother. That and people like you that just make fun of them instead of trying to incentive them.
That's how I got fat in the first place, I was a fattie from 6 to 20 years until my family bothered to pay for a nutritionist who got me on a diet, was hard the first 2 weeks but I was fine after and in about 7 months lost 40Kg just with the diet, then proceeded to do exercise which was much easier without all that weight on top of me. I went from 110Kg to 70Kg which is my recommended weight.
So OP, think about the people who grow up being fat, then put 40Kg or more on your back and try to do push ups, or put them on your belly and try to do situps and tell me how easy it feels to lose weight.
There is a difference between "fat" and a big frame per say.
for example, id say i have a big frame but not "fat", maybe chubby.
I can do 20-30 pushups, but I cant do a handstand.
I can also walk for miles without getting tired or wanting to stop.
I eat well and avoid all junk food (occasional pizza/cheesesteak)
And I don't eat much.
it really depends how you define fat
Obese, 20% over recommended bodyweight is being fat.
Obese, 20% over recommended bodyweight is being fat.
yeah but with that is, someone can have alot of muscle and still be over rec. bodyweight.

1-isnt being gay more genetic? im not going to tell some guy to fuck women.
more women for me (or that friend who is slightly better looking than me :( )
2- excess fat has many problems, from heart problems to more difficulty moving
3- you called this debate legitimate
smiley face
Being gay... genetic? What?
No seriously. What?
Being gay because of a genetic deficiency is very rare, most "gay" people are just gay because they want to.
There's physical gay and psychological gay, most of them are psychological.
I just don't get why being psychologically gay is kind of accepted but being "crazy" isn't.
Some people eat more than others, or exercise less.
Thats it really...
there's people who are obese and those who suffer of hunger and starvation worldwide, i've heard that the percentage oddly similar between these two from a teacher
anyone want to dig that information up, i'm interested to find out if it's actually true

Your logic..
Your word choice..
Your sentence structure..
Your general train of thought..
They are all reminiscent of train wreck. Or, much more appropriate, a group of mentally challenged 8 year-olds crashing chaotically into each other during the bumper-car ride at the state fair.
being lazy is one.
Are THERE excuses for being illiterate?

That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. You don't just wake up one morning and decide you want a cock in your asshole like you decide what you want for dinner on any given night.
I'm fat because I have a hard ass job (mentally not physically) and I have absolutely no time to eat or exercise. All I have time for is microwaving a quick meal and eating it as fast as I can before a client comes. To hell with exercising. I'll have time for that once I have enough money to not have to work 24/7.

Most Thyroid problems are the result of a person being so goddamn obese in the first place.

Probably not, but it is however true that people are far more often gay because of their experiences in life, than they are by "birth" <- which is still a hotly debated topic, with not much evidence to suggest that people are born "gay" or "straight" or "bisexual".
