Get access to a gym.
You're not going to get anywhere with nothing but dumbbells (and you're not going to gain any strength in two weeks either).
My thoughts this morning: Sweet I start cutting today. I'm so excited yay!
My thoughts now: What the fuck did I get myself in to
Unhealthily skinny

That was last year though.. I'm now 131 and 5'7" with 10 percent BF. I want to know if at 131 pounds, 5'7" and 10 percent BF do i still sound as skinny or did i get somewhat healthier?
went back to training today, 7am sesh. must have missed about 3 weeks - was beginning to feel awful. so good to be back, even if i'm still shit and horribly thin

Depends on age really, it's pretty good if you are 16 y/o and 5'7" 131
Depends on age really, it's pretty good if you are 16 y/o and 5'7" 131
15, but IMO i don't think age matters.. I know 15 year olds who are 5'7" and 140-150 almost pure muscle.

I personally don't see the point of exercising early in the morning like that unless its the only time you can. I hear getting a lot of sleep is also very important so I try exercise at around 10 am.
I'm 185 lbs of pure muscle and fat.

Biologically speaking, early in the morning, ~30-60mins to being awake, is not ideal.
Biologically speaking, again, it doesn't matter as your body gets used to the situation and will reap the best it can from the situation at hand.
I have turned 20 as of this day. Here's for many more years! *raises imaginary class of alcoholless drink, juice perhaps*
Hitting 331 DL after 3 months, pretty average advancement no?
Started at 132.
This is fucking horrible.
Trying to bulk during Wrestling season is a bitch.
I don't even know if i'm bulking right.
Eggs = 700 Calories (Guesstimation?)
Milk, 2 Percent + Protein POWda = About 1650 Calories
Rice, Spinach, And Some Ribs Mang = about 500 Calories
Trail Mix bag, Not that nutrient of a school lunch, 2x battered chicken pieces = 350 Calories.
So about 3200 Calories. Meh... I originally wanted 3500-4000 or more.
Any tips for eating and not feeling like you're gonna die?
bulk during wrestling season??? whats wrong with you!

Looks like someone photoshopped the shaft of a penis in place of his neck.
Okay, i am confused. I do SL 5x5. Last time i did bent over rows i did about 120 pounds. Today i did 155 without major struggle. What is wrong with me?
[editline]23rd November 2011[/editline]
Note: I had a hard time doing 120 pounds last time.
Incorrect form this time or last time?
That happens. I tried squat after a long break yesterday (I broke my heels) and I was struggling to do warm up sets. I don't know what the hell was wrong with me, my legs started shaking and I never did the main sets. Still, my legs hurt like hell now.

i have problems sleeping so i usually go to the gym at 6am, it's pretty sweet having the entire gym for yourself. usually i sleep 2 sessions per 24 hours, 4 hours at a time. i can be really fucking tired but i'll still wake up after 4 hours. it's impossible for me to sleep any longer
Due to circumstances this wonderful week, I shall allow myself to be more social with you folks; I will share a piece of my current training status;
All lifts are currently undergoing what I call 'restoration' - I take all lifts to minimal weight (80 lbs) and keep bumping the weight during workout by 5-10kg (lower body gets more pummelled) until bar speed slows (usually 3-4 sets & 5 reps). I will keep doing so until bar speed slows consecutively for 2 workouts and continue back to original weight from there.
I've had experience with this during my intense squatting period, where I kept leaning forward. I got pissed, took all the weight off, and re-squatted from 80 lbs back to my original weight +15kg with proper form. Obviously, this happened again, but that's the background behind that weird method I'm tormenting myself with.
Point of this is to give some rest to the cns obviously, but more importantly "solidify" gains. Before this, my goal was to slap as much weight as I could on the bar, regardless of form (not to exaggerate of course, if I were to lick the floor during squats for example) to a certain extent.
After this month, month and a half period, I will continue regularly.
Another, fun fact for you folks, is the fact I have found out how much internally rotated my shoulders are - 30-40 degrees is my max range of motion, on both shoulders (left is more severe), upwards and downwards. The real fun for me here, is I have concluded that that is the cause for my impotent bench press abilities this ongoing year.
; Idea came from here. I guess when you abuse yourself in training as much as I do, that's what you get.
What I'm going to do about it? fix it.
Goodnight ;)
P.S
How much people in this sub section actually spend time training their necks?
