Today I 10x10'd 80KG squats. Went on to attempt the same with bench. 2 sets in I just left because I felt like blowing chunks everywhere. It's like the most intense workout I've ever done.

Alright Ive been cycling and jogging an hour each day for the past week and I check my weight- I gained pounds what the fuck am I doing wrong? I was 196 last time I checked ago now I'm about 204 [editline]29th November 2011[/editline] Losing weight is harder then I thought I been watching what I eat and all that shit too
Is the scale on a flat, hard surface? My bedroom's floor tends to be slightly uneven and soft at places so if I'm not careful the numbers may be way off, although they're usually too low. Hmm, have you been drinking enough? Did you take your weigh at a similiar time as before (in the morning after taking the piss before eating or so on)? How many calories are you taking daily?

An overly salty meal could change your weight also, when you first stepped on the scale, did you shit, piss, and was your stomach emptyish? If so, then if you want to accurately measure, you have to be in the same circumstances as when you measured before.

Daily, per day I've calculated that I consume around 1400 calories. I didn't think a meal could change that much, i'm surprised.
Measuring the weigh in the middle of the day is slightly unreliable due to the possibly changing conditions, but if that's the only way you can weigh yourself then so be it. Do expect weigh to swing more than if you measured in the morning. Admittedly 8lbs is quite a lot still, so I'm not sure what to advise except to stick to it, because the calorie amount you're having sounds to be around the same as mine and I've lost weigh pretty steadily even without any notable excercise (1-2ish lbs a week). I'd expect a meal to change my weigh around 3-4 lbs.
do it every morning
[QUOTE=Kel|oggs;33481242]y wud u do dat[/QUOTE] 'Cause 5x5 isn't the only thing you can do. I think my quads have put on about half an inch from that one workout alone.
haven't been able to gym for 3 weeks because of unpaid fees. paid my fees, started going to the gym 10 times a week. not even tired, not even mad. just swole as fuck

Are you letting your muscles rebuild after working out, because if your not your doing more harm than good to the fibers. When you over train your muscles, you are not allowing them to repair and your strength will probably regress or not progress due to that.
Starting a 10-week program next week, first week we do out maxes for bench press, squat, power clean, vertical jump, 40-yard dash, and agility. I've been curious to see how much I can gain in that time frame, never thought about seeing how much I can advance myself in a period of time. Better buy some creatine.
Yo, I have not stopped lifting for a day. I can finally bench 60 KG / 132.277357 pounds, and people finally trusts me more for me to spot them. So It's been a year and 4 months since I started hitting the Gym! I have to confess I was a vigorexic motherfucker some months back, early this year. I finally have the ability to feel happy about my body, my height and just about everything. Might post pictures when i'm not feeling lazy!
on the road to recovery nigs bench went from 175 to 225x4 in 1.5 month squat from 225 to 375 powerclean from 205 to 270 weight went from 205-210 to 235. we back in the game motherfucks.
I've been trying a 2-a-day workout routine. I'll continue it for the next two weeks, see how it goes. 2 Protein shakes a day weeeh. I wake up in the morning at 6, get ready for school, and workout at ~7-8. After school, I come back at 3:15 and do the next part. It's great working out in morning.

[editline]1st December 2011[/editline] Myron Gains?
How can I remain fit over the Christmas period? I'm going home for Christmas and I can't take my university gym with me, so I'll either have to employ body-weight exercises or do without. I've only been working out since September, seen some gains. Don't want to come back in January and have to start over.
so you're going home for a month? just keep your usual routines with some bw exercises.
