Hey guys, I could use a bit of a workout routine for my currently non-existent abs. First off I'm a skinny bastard, as in, I'm 6'2 and weigh a mere 140lbs, which is not enough for me. I try my best to eat 2000+ calories a day and I try to lift weights every two days. I do this in combinations with compound exercises like push-ups and pull-ups, since I'm just starting out anyway. But I want to start working on my abs. So like, what are some good ab exercises apart from your classic crunch and how many sets should I do?
Deadlift
Not even joking. People still don't understand just how good deadlifts are for developing the midsection.

Though if you must insist on more common methods, leg raises and dragon flags are good choices. Situps while holding a plate on your chest etc.
You know you love it when you start rubbing the bar with a towel to heat the bar.

Also going to try 195x5 next wednesday on bench and if that's easy enough going to move straight up to 200. For some reason I plateau on bench for months and then progress like 10lbs a week for a short time and then plateau again.

any one else find that when they do barbell shrugs, the bar rubs against your junk in an uncomfortable way? Or am I doing it wrong...

This is the reason why I do machine shrugs.

I enjoy it when I shrug and my balls rest comfortable atop the bar
