Weighted pushups. Get a backpack and fill it with stones.
what are some good chest exercises, other than pushups, that don't require a gym? i'm trying to get some actual pecs
What you need, as I said is a solid classic routine. Focusing on shit as if you were an IFBB pro, just doesn't work for you.

Most of them require a gym, or extra materials. I only have dumbbells. But I can do weighted push-ups, so I'll do those

Wouldn't say anecdotal.. http://www.mindandmuscle.net/?q=articles/robbie_durrand/explosive_lifting&page=all
Would find the actual stuides he's refering to, if you want.
Oh I've seen plenty of evidence for explosive lifting being superior for hypertrophy, thats a given. But the school of thought I'm talking about believes the lack of a eccentric/lowering phase somehow produces more hypertrophy. In that regard, the only stuff I've read is anecdotal stuff from oly lifting coaches who claim they are having trouble keeping their students in one weight class because they grow so rapidly (and my dick gets bigger every time i pull it)
Should I change / improve anything in my workout? I'm 15, weighing 70 kilos, 186 cms tall.
I workout every second day, doing these exercises;
Normal and barbell curls with 12 kilos, 5 x 5
Pushups till I can't do more ( around 20 )
Situps with torso twist x 50
And I cycle for training legs, my left knee is really bad, so I can't run.

I guess you train a home? Again, you need... to progressively load... more. You can't expect a reaction when you oppose no increasing resistance. Body adapts quickly, yet your brain seems to not.
saw some grandpa doing knee bends with like 200kg on the bar
was painful to watch
Is there such thing as too much protein? I've heard from some people it'll be fine and just pass out by itself eventually, but I've also heard that it causes kidney damage or something like that.
there's a such thing as too much of anything. As long as you're not absolutely fucktarded you won't OD on protein or have so much that it should cause any kidney or liver failure.
I've got my power clean form down pretty good as of today, I had a lot of help from m y friend. I'm keeping a big eye on it, but I'm still wondering if it's good to be in my workout?
Well as I've said before I don't know much about football and I don't know how much anyone else knows. You could maybe ask your coach or read up on what are good football exercises

Power cleans are wonderful. Very compoundy. Excellent, yet dangerous, exercise.

I think it might be a small problem if you eat several kg of meat every day and you already have kidney problems.
I have started my workout schedule, i'm using the usual exercises along with my 25kg dumbbell set, i'm going to be honest here, my belly has a large portion of fat on it, and yet it is still quite muscular, i'm new to this, and could anyone answer my question, and that is whether doing these exercises would help to burn the fat in my chest, or would I have to do other things like running?
mfw when i bench more than i squat

Lemoncurry, there is no spot fat reduction, it melts off pretty evenly from everywhere.
You're still going to notice the fat on your belly disappearing before anything else because that's where most of the fat on your body is stored.
What's a good price (UK GBP) to be paying for a basic home barbell bench?
If I'm correct, glucosamine helps with your joints right??? I've been running again and my left knee hurts like hell.

How did you manage to get your bench above your squat :byodood: my bench weight always trails behind, and whenever I start to catch up I stall out on the last few sets :smith:

Well in all seriousness, I've bought a bottle of that stuff to help with the knee problems from running. Works well.
i dont know much about it other than some promising studys but Cissus Quadrangularis is something to look up for your knee ( although i would rather you rest it as a first procedure)
I was going to run a marathon on next Saturday, but due to shin splints I had to choose half marathon =(
My sleeping schedule sucks, period. Went to sleep around 11am, woke up 11pm, it's now around 5pm.
