Mods grant that randomly? What's the difference?
you get it when you've been here 2 years and have over 2k posts
nothing different, you just get access to the goldmembers forum (it's shit)
well one thing for sure, this joint boost helps kill the pain in my knee on my morning runs. Now all I have to worry about is my side-aches!!

Holy shit I just realized after this post that I've been "promoted" too.
Altho only roughly a thousand posts. I must be special :downs:
I'm thinking of changing my routine to a 5-day split. Anybody got any suggestions?

I think they changed it to either 2 years or 2k post actually.

On what basis do you think you need a 5-day split exactly?
I'm thinking of changing my routine to a 5-day split. Anybody got any suggestions?
i would not recommend a 5 day split
i would not recommend a 5 day split
I'm not doing this workout routine but I'm just wondering what is the validity of it? I read somewhere that it's good for looks. I don't plan on doing it. If any of you must know, some kid wants me to help him find a workout routine to "look nicer" this summer.

Trying to get a long jog in today and maybe the weighlifting in the evening
EDIT: and the gold member can't be just 2 years, I'm not one and I've been here for five. Maybe there's some lower limit like 1000 posts?
I can feel my back and core getting stronger. There is a thickness there that was never there before.
that's my dick in your ass
Geez, I use to post here like 2 and a half months ago.
Then I got fucking hospitalized. For that whole time I was unable to work out or even exert myself.
I lost like 15 pounds, and not to mention it was my lung that was affected and now I have a part of it removed. Talk about getting shit on.
However I've been trying to get back to what I was, going to be hard. I just started 2 days ago and I'm soooo much weaker than I was before, not to mention my stamina has sunk.

Wish me bro luck
Good luck, I'm sure you'll get back to shape in no time at all.
May muscle memory have mercy on you

Good luck, bro. Shit sucks but you'll be surprised how much less time it will take you to get back to it! Just push hard and you'll be lifting heavy things to different places in no time!
Just benched my bodyweight (70kg) for the first time
feels good man

Feels good man.
ok so I'm going to the gym with my friend tomorrow for the first time, starting strong lifts. On the website it says this:
Start with the empty Olympic Bar (45lbs) on all exercises then add 5lbs per workout. On Deadlifts start with 90lbs and add 10lbs per workout (1 set of 5 only!). I warn you, SL5x5 is harder than it looks.
I'm assuming this means that I add 5 pounds each day and not each set, correct? (start with 45, do 5x5 with 45, the next day I do 5x5 with 50, etc.)
who the hell would struggle with benching 45 5x5 anyway
who the hell would struggle with benching 45 5x5 anyway
i don't know, but is that what I'm supposed to do?
i don't know, but is that what I'm supposed to do?
Yes. You'll catch up quickly. Difficulty will soon arise.
Yes. You'll catch up quickly. Difficulty will soon arise.
yeah I just read some things on it outside of the stronglifts site, and they absolutely recommend starting out at 45lbs, aside from deadlifts.
benching 58kg
SO WEAK, SO SKINNY ;_;
I just found out I have very very mild pectus excavatum
oh well
do you legitimately have pectus excavatum or are you just self-diagnosing youself
because if you've describing it as very very mild you probably don't have it - you just haven't built your upper chest yet.
In this topic everyone has pectus excavatum except me! I substitute it with Usher's syndrome instead.
EDIT: Budspoonce ruined my timing, boo!
