just searched usher syndrome. damn dude. what type do you have? are you still able to hear
do you legitimately have pectus excavatum or are you just self-diagnosing youself
because if you've describing it as very very mild you probably don't have it - you just haven't built your upper chest yet.
I'd say it's fairly easy to diagnose.
I don't really know how common it is, but heaps of people here have it so I guess it's not surprising.
I just can't stand when people self-diagnose themselves on facepunch. I always see people diagnosing themselves with ADHD and aspergers just because they are socially retarded and paranoid. How bad is it anyway notmeh?
I've got the third type which is the most common in Finland but rare elsewhere. Basically I was diagnozed it when I was three after my aunt (unless I'm mistaken) begun wondering why I wasn't reacting to audible signals like calling my name. From there on after I've been wearing glasses and hearing aids.
Currently (19 years old) my hearing is so bad that without hearing aids I do not hear anything with my left ear and you'd have to shout into my right ear for me to hear something. Even with hearing aids I can't make out what people say with just one ear in use, so I need both to understand others. For the seeing the hard part isn't that I had poor eyesight but rather that I have a very bad field of vision. Basically if a normal person sees 180 degrees around him, I see the 180th degree (straight to the sides) and then straight ahead of me (for example, if I'm in the back of the bus and look out from the front glass, I do not see the sides of the bus at all).
About the future developement it's hard to say anything concrete as the end result varies a lot. It may be that my condition won't get any worse from this, but it's somewhat expectable that I'll go completely deaf and will most likely lose more of my field of vision. Usher's also affects my balance but that isn't terribly noticable anymore due to years of physiotheraphy and myself trying to improve my muscle balance by working out.
All in all I've still fared amazingly well, considering how the doctors told my parents I'd never learn to speak, yet here I am speaking fluently in Finnish and Finglish (and Swedish), so I'm not really worried. Since I learned to speak I'll be able to function in the society well enough even if I some day lose my hearing.
EDIT: Holy block of text Batman! *adds paragraphs*
EDIT2: As an interesting tidbit I might mention that there're around 300 people with Usher's in Finland, so I'm a part of a rare group.
EDIT3: Fixed spelling and such.

Lately, whenever I do pull ups etc. I feel really fucking tired after 2 or 3 reps and have to stop. Tired as in sleepy. It's really weird.
Has something to do with your blood pressure I would imagine. I have no idea what it could mean, though

Hey brahs gained like 2 pounds in 3 days lmao. Probably because I'm eating so much.
How much is too much brotein? I mean I probably ate like, 175g of protein today lmao. Too much? I'm 140 pounds now.
you only need 1g of "brotein" as you call it per pound of bodyweight, as a general guide.
ive found 1.5g/lb or more works better/good baseline
daww shit. Greetings from hospital. My stomach hurts like hell and theyre probably going to cut my appendix

Wish I had the cash to support such a diet.
uhh just eat a packet of quark daily. 500 grams of milk quark costs an euro here in generally expesive finland. Thats 60 grams of protein on top of your regular diet.
Just did Squat 5x5 200lbs
Barbell Row 5x5 95lbs. ( Could have done more, was being a puss).
Deadlifts 1x5 185
Benchpress 5x5 100lbs ( I was tired as fuck by this time).
Crunches 3 sets til fail.
BTW, am I the only one who fucking hates the EZ bar.
Iuno wtf happened.. I made a 16 pound gain in a few months and I've been stuck at like 140-146 for awhile now.. Maybe I hit my plateau?

this post was clearly made by the doctor who saw Kelloggs' post and after Maucer's euthanasia decided to give a helping hand with his vast medical knowledge
