Disregard the PT. Maybe he doesn't want to take up any responsability for you lifting or something.
I ignored mine at the second week, when I realized he didn't give a fuck about me. And I kept improving, tweaking my routine, based on my experience, and motivation alone. After all, who cares more about you, than YOURSELF?
One of the "trainers" in there, thinks I am just a weakling, just because my chest doesn't stick out like others. And whenever he sees me, doing 40 KG easily on the bench press he panics, and tells me to do 5 kg instead, for my "physical complexity". What do they know?

He's 50 years old, maybe his routine isn't as good as it could be, but he suffered a few major shoulder injuries over the past few years.
But his nutritional advice is golden.

There's a reason for that. He strays completely away from ACTUAL strength training mechanics and goddamn equipment. He worships dumbbells.
Though it's very nicely presented towards the unexperienced kids who watch him and might be even somewhat effective, it's just stupid.
It might be fine with people 40+ who have arthisis n shit like that.
Like I said, I only watch his nutritional videos. They've done me nothing but good.
He said leg press can be a replacement for squat. nuff said
so today I tried this squat machine because my gym lacks a squat rack and well...
I loaded up 200kg and felt absolutely nothing, I probably got a better workout from hauling the fukin 25kg plates back and forth
