Gold is now 5 years 100 posts? Wow, guess I'll be getting gold pretty soon myself, then. Hehe.
You fat? Is that why you hate? Fat kids hatin erry day.
I said it was fairly impressive... I was just trying to be realistic, though. You're kind of a twink.
So from my understanding if I'm looking to bulk, I should be focusing on compound lifts. I'm not really used to this seeing as I've always been one of those 'chest day, bis day' etc sort of people, so could anyone critique this: Day 1: Barbell chest press Incline dumbbell fly Seated barbell shoulder press Dumbbell lateral raise Day 2: Deadlift Lat pulldown Narrow grip bench press Standing barbell curl Day 3: Squats Leg extension Weighted decline sit ups Barbell bent over row Some general questions: Regarding a bunch of the exercises such as the chest press, I'm unsure if DB or BB is preferable, I figure more weight is possible with BB and therefore is more appropriate for bulking? Regarding the shoulder press, is there a huge difference between seated/standing? And in terms of reps/sets, I'm aiming for 10 reps and 3/4 sets per exercise, increasing the weight each set. I usually fail on the 3rd or 4th set before reaching 10 reps, and I continue this until I'm able to do 10 reps of the heaviest weight (4th set), at which point I will move all the weights up by one for the next week. Hopefully that makes sense. Any help is appreciated ^^
I don't know if this thread is the right, but i am writing this in advance. I heard that training abs with weight is stupid, cause they will look bad. And weird. So what do you do, when your exercises without weights are not enough? (Sit-ups, crunches, and so on)

Oh good, cause the last time i began weightlifting, my ab-progress kinda stopped because i was afraid of that. Thanks for the advice!
could someone explain the point of Hack squats to me?
quoting because no one fukin responded

According to DC's author, you should. Couldn't really say for myself. But if I try and look at this logically you can probably see two things: 1. He's not trying to sell any shit with this beyond simple stretches, so it might be plausible. 2. The thought that your body stops growing, because it "doesn't have enough room" sounds absurd to me. To sum: Do the fuck you want. People say it works but people also say you need 150g protein for a beginner and 9000 calories to grow. People nowadays are "freaks" of nature. Almost everybody is surprisingly. So, take that in consideration and do the fuck you want as I said.
However I gather from your reply that this routine is too advanced and I should instead be looking at something like SS or 5x5 i.e. a routine with less volume/exercises, so ty for that much.

Why is that so important exactly I mean I know it's considered proper but why
mirin' physique
What are your guys opinions on this? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003SFPVVM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=ACB4OZ71P3ZTY
Why is that so important exactly I mean I know it's considered proper but why
When your feet are placed properly it lets you drive with your calves and hamstrings that reinforces your arch in your back which will extend your chest upward ( not your ass, your chest). In other words http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Es3BX08pO-w explains it better from Rippetoe himself.
Does it make benching harder or easier? I can't really tell from the video.
Does it make benching harder or easier? I can't really tell from the video.
It decreases your range of motion, so easier.

How often do you guys have a bad gym workout? I mean your weights are slightly lower and you struggle to finish reps that on the last workout you popped out easily.
How often do you guys have a bad gym workout? I mean your weights are slightly lower and you struggle to finish reps that on the last workout you popped out easily.
Every Monday

I've been working out in my room doing a group of chest/bicep/tricep/back every other day and I get a huge pump and everythings good but then I don't look very different.. I do when I'm working out of course but then the next day I feel the same. Slightly more defined but.. I feel like it's still wrong. My weights have been going up slowly but surely, I push myself often but if I do it as hard as I can I'll get the delayed onset muscle soreness and my arms will be locked up and I can't fix aircraft that way (can't grab the parts out of the jet). Could it be because of my metabolism? I have a hard time eating enough but my metabolism is also through the roof (20 years old and I can still eat anything I want.). I don't take any weight stuff.. I don't really want to either. I only take jack3d at times. Any advice would be greatly appreciated since I started with the advice here in one of the last threads.
I think the average answer in here to that would be "eat more, phaggot".
