Yes, go run outside, don't use a goddamn treadmill.
Eat around Maintenance calories, lift, and run. (Provided you are burning 500 calories from running).
With 1g-2g of brotein per every pound of body fat.
Rinse repeat.
Hmmm... Probably should be in the calisthenics thread. But pretty much nailed a frog stand to handstand using pushup bars. I guess it has to mostly do with balance because I couldn't even do a frog stand two days ago. Although I don't like the feeling of being upside down, I have a phobia of hitting my head on the floor.
I guess more training until I can do a handstand without the bars.

Although it was a weak ass handstand.
scary shit man scary shit

Opinions on cutting diet?
I'm going to bed now but keep in mind during this diet I will not be sedentary by any means. I plan on running every day so I can build up my cardiovascular health. Probably going to run for 5 minutes tomorrow and try to increase the time I run by one minute every day throughout the course of my cut.
[editline]18th July 2011[/editline]
Because im out of shape as fuck as far as cardio goes.

Wow I need to learn to get 200 g protein for that many calories.
Seems good though.
You do notice you eat no solid food what so ever?
If you want to lose bf, you'd want to do it more slowly. Attacks like these are pretty bad in terms of muscle loss. You gotta do it a lot more gradually, using cycles instead of a constant routine which your body will get accustomed to very quickly.
I read a study once also, that protein alone, did not decrease cortisol levels upon consumption in comparison to carbs n protein in a meal. So.. they're not your worst enemy.
Your approach is all cards on the table, straight on, pre contest (a bit too high for a few days pre contest on carbs) method which will not fit with you. For long at least.
Better ways to do it which will probably also include damn food.

hahaha 5 minutes? Actually... I remember when that was me, now I can go 50. Feels good man.
Increasing 1 minute a day isn't too hard, there's this chart that I used to help me though, I'll see if I can find it. It may or may not be useful to you.

I don't know if you can read it or not. Also I didn't rest in between days, I don't think it really matters with cardio unless you do intense marathon training maybe.

i've never measured anything on my body. True story.
You can run longer than 5 minutes.
Not really I'm so out of shape in terms of my lungs it's embarassing. I ran for about 6.5 minutes today (covered roughly a little less than a mile) and then lifted and was nearly puking afterwards

I'm pretty sure it's recommended that you do whatever cardio you intend to do AFTER you lift.
I just lifted after my hour long bike ride and i couldn't do anything. All my lifts went down at least five pounds
I'm pretty sure it's recommended that you do whatever cardio you intend to do AFTER you lift.
actually, you want to do a little cardio before. Nothing strenuous but a good 15 minutes of cardio can really help.
Five pounds is like 2 kgs, what does that matter? I'd be worried if they dropped at least 5-10kg. Anything less and I'd attribute it to natural fluctuation anyways.
