If I don't have anyone to spot me, are most people fine if I just go hey wanna spot each other? I'm pretty nervous of that stuff because I don't want to ask some guy I don't know to spot me when I lift 5 lbs.
does anyone else feel extremely sleepy/tired after a long workout? whenever I get on the bus I'm borderline asleep already even while listening to loud as shit music is dis just dem endorphins or am i going to die?
yeah im all completely drained after a hard/long/penis workout good ol' endorphins
Today I deadlifted 225 twice, but my grip almost failed me the first time I pulled it. Anyone have any good grip strength exercise routines or anything?

chalk works wonders if you have no gloves
I was wondering, for couch to 5k, I'm not in great shape but not horrible, could I just start half way through on like week 3 or 4 or something? Or would it work better if I started from the beginning?
Woah. I missed my gym today and I was generally annoyed by everything else too. Didn't feel like sleeping so I went running at 00:30 AM (12:30PM?). Ran 11~ kilometers, mostly trough the woods and trough a really thick white fog on flat plains. I listened to psychedelic trance and watched thunder flashing in the horizon. Didn't see a single car or a person. Felt amazing.
pull-ups/chin-ups also use straps if ur grip is being ghey
Pullups are as efficient for fores as pushups for chest. It's an mmkay when you start but gets quite useless in the long run. Deadlift. And don't use straps or you will always have to use em. Your fores will catch up soon. Use the white magnesium powder if your gym has it if your hands get sweaty.

theyre both for fagets
I don't think my gym has/allows chalk, after all I'm literally the only one I've ever seen deadlifting in there. No one does any proper lifting except benching, they don't even have a squat rack. Today I saw someone doing hang cleans and I questioned whether or not this was reality
Yeah, chalk is hit or miss at all the gyms near me. The LA Fitness I go to doesn't allow chalk because it scuffs up the metal or something. Just something one of the trainers working there told me.
they don't even have a squat rack.
a gym without a squat rack? what the fuk
Stop whining. Bearly breaking through the 300lbs deadlift and yet ya'll forearms consistently, ARE NOT ABLE TO PROGRESS EVEN THOUGH CONSTANT PROGRESSIVE STRESS IS APPLIED?!?! WOHA THAT MAKES SENSE. Your back, legs n everything goes up, yet forearms fail to endure. I never in my life used a towel with deads, chalk or whatever fucking product you piecreams need to lay your cotton head on. Yes, my forearms burnt and could bearly hold the bar. So, am I special? I'm the only one who doesn't need it?

Upper arm circumference is sitting at about ~16" last I checked. Hoping to keep it around the same but perhaps lose a little fat.
Woah. I started a new creatine cycle just under two weeks ago. I can definitely tell the difference in both strength and size. Small gains at a time but it's definitely helping me out. Heading over to Thailand next month. I can't wait to hit the gym every morning there for a light session and maybe even get into some Muay Thai. The latter intimidates me a bit though as I'll most definitely have my ass handed to me.
I've started doing weighted pullups lately. Did 8-7-6 reps with 15kg/33lb plate. Daww shit. My gym is closed for the weekend.

There's this guy at the gym I go to who looks exactly like The Heavy.

Anyone else have a guy at their gym that consistently smells like ass? There's this guy that always does yoga shit by the squat rack, and if you get within 5 feet of him you can barely breath.
What do you guys do when you sustain an injury that prevents you from lifting with one arm?

It's not like it does anything to take a strain off of your forearms.
did 175lb on bench 8x3 today. (8 sets of 3, not 3 of 8.)
why did you do 8 sets?
Because ur a dumb faget that's why owned!
I think WtF should have a custom rating, something like "Swole" or some shit, with like an arm or a barbell as the icon
I made a thread about that. Budspoonce made a jelly rating. IDK WHAT HAPPENED THOUGH
Just went for a run for the first time since track ended in June. Feels good man

I was making a point, it doesn't matter what you use, but rather if you even should use.
