I just got back from drill yesterday. I was so close to passing the PT test. I only got 36 sit-ups down. There a way to make your tummy more flexible?
No one answered the best set and rep range for gaining mass /size . I've upped calories by 700
I already told you. It's not as simple as there being one magical rep range that will produce a specific effect. 8-12 range is generally ideal for muscular hypertrophy, BUT that is being ignorant of other factors at play. Lots of beginners do better in lower rep range (4-6) not only as a physiological response, but also it helps build a strength base and lay down a foundation for the CNS so to speak which can then in turn promote greater hypertrophy down the track. And people freak the fuck out too much, they;re like "oh no if I'm not training for maximum hypertrophy I won't get swole!!!". We're talking minimal differences here, training in the lower rep range is still going to produce massive hypertrophy gains if you are doing your part in the kitchen. Ross enamait who is a boxing trainer did his "mass experiment" utilizing heavy loads and focusing on explosive strength, he gained 12lbs while maintaining 8-9% bodyfat in 4 months. Which is pretty fucking great.
school starts tomorrow, the motivation to work out will be hammered into me over a 7 hour session. bring it
disregard school acquire mussels

Finally almost Monday! I've been wanting to go to the gym all weekend. I wish half a year would pass so I could be Thor already. I'm going to be, though. Thor, I mean. That's pretty much decided. I'm letting my hair grow out, and once I'm appropriately bulky, I'm regrowing this beard: I'll be a way better Thor than that nerd Hemsworth.
that's going to look fucking amazing
Why aren't you regrowing that beard now?

I only really go to the gym so I can use the sauna and check out all the hot sweaty men.
I only go to the gym because i beat off and then wipe down the barbells with my skeet rag, then i finish off by sucking a fart out of the local bodybuilders assholes, and maybe nibble on some of their shit if they look good that day. no homo.

I mean really, I could do ballet and still fuck chicks, but did ballet make me gay? No. Grow up.

They shut the fuck up when they found out that the dude was pulling home a different stunner almost every night of the week and fucking her brains out. Moral of the story is: Latin dancers get pussy
I don't think sp00ks was actually serious considering he's been posting in these threads since like the original. IDK THOUGH

first day of school, sitting at home with a headache afterwards. somehow the fact that in a couple of hours ill be lifting like a mofo comforts me.
Hm, first time I've posted in this forum. I am working to put more power behind my punch, as I might be joining a boxing club. So far I have been doing three things. Keep in mind I am pretty clueless as to workout terminology. -Swiveling Weights with my forearm muscles. - Getting on my back and doing slow punching motions with 30 lb. dumbbells. - Standing up and doing fast jabs with 15 lb. dumbbells. Any ideas/critiques?
Day 4, yeah! I'm feeling quite well, I just need to make sure I'm eating enough. I have to remind myself to eat, otherwise I forget. If I forget and don't eat enough, I won't become Thor-like.
