Seen people do OHP in a squat rack with an Incline bench expect people to bitch at you for doing that though lol You could also do DB shoulder press instead like all the cool kids do
I use the squat rack for deadlifts only because there's not much free floor space in my gym, plus I'm the only one who uses the squat rack. For ohp I just use the premade barbells and clean them up to my chest and go from there, don't really need a rack. [editline]25th August 2011[/editline] also do you guys use daily plate every day or do you just try and keep track of calories mentally?
Or you could just you know not use a rack for your OHP.
I don't feel it in my chest when I do flys. I'm pretty sure I do them wrong. I'm going to youtube...
dumbbell flys are the shit, i used to get that to You gotta put your arms up higher, a lot of people I see fail to do that. Also, I like doing them on a bench instead of the floor, full range of motion is the way to go
Or you could just you know not use a rack for your OHP.
P. much everyone in my gym uses the squat rack for Deadlifts and OHP. Justified because there's no other place to do them.
Alright, I've wanted to gain weight for a while now, but nothing has come out of it, so I guess I'll post here. I'm 190 cm/6'2 inches tall and around 60 kilos/132 pounds, and I want to become around 80-90 kilos. Where do I start?
The E-stats are strong with this one.
I forgot to put in that hes 15 now. But hes been lifting since he was 13, so hes got muscle memory down pat and perfect form. He also has a testosterone problem, and had to be put on estrogen pills, but he quit taking them and since then he has fucking immense retard strength.

See I never understood from where I'm supposed to be powering the deadlift. I grab the bar and use my back to lift the bar up, if you were to see my form it would look perfect, but I'm not sure if I'm using the right muscles to lift the bar.

tomorrow I begin the loading of creatine.
You gotta push down into the ground with your legs.
But how is that supposed to bring the bar up?
But how is that supposed to bring the bar up?
lol, srs? go watch a form video on deadlifts ok?
But how is that supposed to bring the bar up?
Basically you are DRIVING your heels into the ground so to speak while you pull with your legs and back, think of it in terms of leverage. In fact a correct explosive deadlift should feel like you are almost falling backwards a bit. (obviously not actually falling backwards though, that would a disaster)
Think I got it now. This will have a dramatic effect on my lifts I'm sure. [editline]26th August 2011[/editline] Purchased Creatine, Wow. I sweat 2x more, don't know why, much more energy for sure, fooled myself thinking I could bench after a full routine. Messiest shit in the world + looks like Cocaine all over my desk. Oh fuck I'm gonna get locked up.
NO Xplode makes me sweat like a bitch
I've just found out Creatine is a myostatin inhibitor, which makes it even more impressive.
I swear my bench is destined to be always shit or something last time I benched I could go 60kg x 3 easily, this time I could barely pump out 1 rep what is this fucking bullshit?
What I have never understood, is why my friends seem to have no abs, the skinny ones, that is. As I shed ym belly fat, I can see pretty well defined abs, but they have like, no fat, and there is nuttin there. Also, one question, someone said there is 350 calories to 1lb of body fat, so if I burn 350 calories from say, swimming, I have lost 1lb? Seems weird.
someone said there is 350 calories to 1lb of body fat, so if I burn 350 calories from say, swimming, I have lost 1lb? Seems weird.
Did a PT say that by any chance?

Not 350. i wish it was 350..........
After three weeks of running a mile or two every other day and calorie counting, I have lost half a stone. Dat feeling.
Did a PT say that by any chance?
Wow, I actually foresaw you doing that? No actually, I think it was someone on here, and try not to mock me, it's irritating.
Wow, I actually foresaw you doing that? No actually, I think it was someone on here, and try not to mock me, it's irritating.
He was implying that whoever said that was badly misinformed.
saw some 90's-ass video today about physical stereotypes. there was an entire section on steroids and creatine. they put them in the same category and made one guy apologize to his community for using creatine. shit
Holy Shit, wrong account.
Any of you guys getting that salty shit crusting up on your work-out shirts?
before working out, i never drank milk. now it's like fucking candy to me.
I go through a gallon every 2 days / 3 days. sigh.
