oh my god, i fucking love hill sprints, but i didnt know it was that good for developing muscles.
hill sprints are fantastic if you really want to push yourself, honestly i love that feeling after demolishing a hill while your veins and lungs are on fire. imo everyone should try hill sprints
tbh even the most gayest, lowest impact bodyweight exercises can be used to build muscle if a caloric surplus is present.
It's just that heavy resistance training is a much more intelligent and superior option in most cases. Sprints are unique in that they are an exercise you can do almost anywhere that recruits a ridiculous amount of muscle fibers, especially if you are doing them properly, i.e MAX effort/output and really exploding.
What's the best whey protein for you guys? I'm thinking I might get 100% whey protein isolate, but I am a bit unsure about the amount per serving, I really struggle to get the right amount of protein into my diet, and it only has 24g per serving.
Found cheap pasta with 23g protein/53 ch, awesome !

What brand?
Torino, costs rougly an euro per 500 grams
E: A finnish brand. I don't believe you have it there.
I like the fact the guy on the left is Finnish.
Will begin working out again next week. I'm gonna be dumb (?) and start doing these sort of deadlift -> hang clean (?) -> military press combos because I need to get motivated first.
for SL, would it be okay to replace bench press with dumbbell press?

I'm pretty sure that's just a "clean and press"
Did 60kg on bench with a solid 5 reps today.
Could barely do 1 rep last workout.
explain this bullshit
There are clear pauses in the movement, though, I think a proper clean and press would be a smooth movement. The military press will also have some cheat leg drive in it.

If all other lifts are not stalling, you should llook into this -
does your barbell/dumbbell shoulder press linearly stays at about the same weight/progression levels? if so, you got 50% of the answer.
went up 10 lb on my squat today. somehow. i feel that lifting things up and putting them down had a place in it.
Squatting is probably the easiest workout to build on. I went from 135lbs to 225 in a little over a month, but that was on a brutal leg workout regime.
Just signed up at a local gym, feeling really good about myself.
Lets see how long that lasts ahahahahaha.
Though with those /fit/ motivation threads, I'd be surprised if i ever stopped.
Is this good?

Basically how my daily bulk looks like, no sups used.
I want to see the details please, mr 183g protein solid food
Alright boys, finally hit some free weights yesterday, thank god. I weighed in at 133-135 with water fluctuations, benched 125-130 as my max, but i am definitely sure i can hit higher.
Its just at a certain point in the bench, is where i get stuck, im not sure what the main muscle is in that part, its not lifting it off chest, its aroundish pushing it up farther than that, im guessing triceps.
But anyways, squatted 135 x8, and then ran a mile or two, came back, tried to squat and dropped it.
no running on squat days :(
I've got this uncomfortable-ness in my tailbone, could it be as a result of squatz or deadliftz? I'm doing both of those later today, so I'm wondering if I should de-load on them or not.
I doubt squats or DL would have any affect on your tail bone.
IDK i'm not a doctor.

Have you been sitting on hard surfaces a lot lately?
Hurting tailbone is one of the suckiest things I know. I usually get it from sitting too much and it takes a long time to heal.
Has anyone every sprained their back? I haven't been able to workout out for 2 weeks because of it and since I'm in college it makes thing much worse because of lack of healthy food -.-.

When I sprain my back, I take a few days of any exercise that makes it hurt at all, and sleep a lot, it soon get's much better.
