You could also stop running and just walk there on your leg workout days
also how the hell does cardio wear out your stomach?
You don't leave it sucked in as you run?
Well, besides, how long do you guys usually spend at the gym?
why do you do that?
I've never heard of anyone sucking in their stomach when they run. Keeping their midriff tight and supportive yeah, sucking in your stomach, not really.
why do you do that?
Habit really, but it does burn something after I do my runs.
My treatment for my achy back consist of stomach vacuums, even though that has proven uneffective to relieve my pain, I have done so much abdominal strenght exercises, that I can hold stomach vacuums for a whole day. I do them while running, and while doing almost every lifting exercise. I don't know how much of an achievement is that, but it feels like one.
DLed 110kg today
felt good man, also used a belt for the first time ever
the psychological boost and confidence that it gives you really is amazing
Stop going so fast NotMeh, I haven't even bought the plates to attempt the 100 kg deadlift yet.
EDIT: in other news, back to normal schedule, deadlifted 79kgs and squatted/militarypressed 25kgs yesterday, legs are kinda sore.
100kg is nothing
did that for 5 reps today
110kg for 2 so that ain't my max either

Ego boost is short term. I rather enjoy small weight increasements and rarely, or more gradually if you like, be able to tell if I'm getting OT'ed instead of getting a smack in the face.
I just prefer due to personal experience to take things 5/3/1 way - slower.

Stomach Vacuums are worthless. There are better exercises.
...which is what makes belts worth it

i still have no idea what a good deadlift/squat max is at my age (17)

Age does not matter. Weight class does. How much do you lift in comparison to how much you weigh.
Think I should deload? I've been lifting for about 16 weeks and haven't deloaded yet
I'm kind of new to the whole bodybuilding thing. I have hardly any money for any equipment and the heaviest weights I could find in the house is two 4kg dumbbells. Is there any chance whatsoever of me accomplishing anything with them?

Yeah that's what I thought. With them out of the question, what other things can I do to at least build up some muscle?

Not really.
Not really.
Well thanks for the help anyway.
So, how long do you guys usually work out at the gym? Or..how long do you guys stay over to finish what you want to finish.
I'm usually at the gym for about an hour, really depends on your routine.
I'm usually at the gym for about an hour, really depends on your routine.
I'm still trying to look for any good sets that could help with upper-body and arms.
I try to lift for around an hour but since it's summer and i have time to kill I spend a long time stretching and do a good deal of elipticals and jump roping which can add up to almost two hours.

you can try calisthenics or if you think you could afford a gym membership you should try that.

AND NOW I'M OFF TO DO LEGS ALL BY MYSELF :(
I wuv wifting wates guyz!
Today I realized that weightlifting is becoming one of my favorite things in life.
Usually lift for around an hour as well
Hour here
Hardest workout I've ever done today, my muscles swole up so badly my skin was stretching
My excercising takes me about an hour I'd imagine.
EDIT: and buckets of sweat
Do you guys usually follow a set? Or do you arbitrarily think of them on the spot?
I have in mind what i'm going to do or at least a general idea before i go, if that's what you're asking
Do you guys usually follow a set? Or do you arbitrarily think of them on the spot?
