Probably won't find any of that anywhere without medical prescription but I won't fap until my cast gets taken off anyway.
Depends. I get those prescription free for some reason right now, so just head out to your local pharmacy and give it a go.
the 2nd one is a very common anti-septic, no need for prescription. It's a common house-hold
Just a couple of questions guys!
I added in knee raises, weighted dips and pull ups, and front dumbbell raises to my SL today, should this be okay? I felt fine, but there may be problems I am not getting yet.
And, on my days off SL, I wanted to do some isolation exercises with those machines that use discs, forget what to call them... But would this too, be alright? Of course I would still have rest days.
Don't. Take a year of doing the program it as it is. Rip your ass out, set some goals, 220 lbs bench, I don't care.
I know you're dying to get a taste of that hypertrophy, but you'll need to get back to strength sometime anyways. Sarcoplasmic Hypertrophy is a limited thing with most people, but again, most people fail to realize they're standing put with their training. Be smart, train heavy, train to win.
Stop with the magazine bullshit, keep strength up and you'll be rewarded. The time will come when you feel you need the change, trust me.
P.S
I personally prefer SS, as it has every useful compound on the book. SL isn't bad, but I'd really like the average trainee to experience pullups.
Eh... Okay then, i'll keep with SL for a five or six month period. I imagine 120lb bench would be a decent goal.
Say if I don't find said treatments anywhere, would test suppressors be the alternative easy way out?
I managed to beat acne by just eating a hella lotta fruit (cutting all junk out of my diet, whihc also helped me on my cut) and by washing my face before I went to bed and when I got up in the morning.
p.s. sleep on back for extra help.
my advice, fucking tons of water, no soft drinks or shit food.
my advice, fucking tons of water, no soft drinks or shit food.
preeeeeeeeeetttttttty sure acne has nothing to do with the metabolization of sugar or fat
what is shit food
just sayin
Say if I don't find said treatments anywhere, would test suppressors be the alternative easy way out?
Hormonal imbalance is something you should see your doctor about. Simple blood tests can say for sure.
I'd go with my method first before declaring nuclear war.
Already change my pillow case everyday and forced to sleep on back because of the cast on my arm.
next day, loloutbreak
ps. been to a derm, gave me shitty prescription, shit didn't work; I mad.
[editline]18th September 2011[/editline]
funny thing is, a few months ago, I had next to no acne at all (after 2 years of moderate acne).
shit restarted in August for no reason at all
[editline]18th September 2011[/editline]
oh and in the same month of August, my sex drive increased astronomically.
seemed like a sudden test spike to me.
Like Seith said it sounds hormonal then and you should prob see a different derm or something
idk i'm not a doctor
Suppressing testosterone while you are in puberty sounds like the worst fucking idea ever. Is the acne so bad that you're willing to suppress the hormone that is responsible for a large portion of the maturation of your body??
oh shit, i think im going through a late growth spurt. everything doesn't seem as tall to me for some reason. i'm tripping the fuck out. i only noticed this like 2 weeks ago.
Suppressing testosterone while you are in puberty sounds like the worst fucking idea ever. Is the acne so bad that you're willing to suppress the hormone that is responsible for a large portion of the maturation of your body??
yes
pretty sure I actually do have hormonal imbalance, but i'm not looking to suppress it to the levels of a prepubescent child anyway.
and mind you i've had acne for 4-5 fucking years now, shouldn't it normally be gone by now?
I was thinking of getting some equipment to start Stronglifts 5x5. I was thinking of just getting a power rack and a normal bench and when I need to do bench presses, I just lower the bars above my chests. That does sound good?
So I've bulked up a decent amount over the last couple years and no Im kinda looking for tone. I know the working out half of that, and I've also decided to add cardio to my workouts. How often a week should I run as a beginner-ish runner (its been 2 years since high school where I played sports and actually had cardio)? And should I be doing sprints, long jogs, or a mix of the two

it should have, yes.
Accutane baby, the only hway. Depends on the severity of your acne of course.

I'm way too scared of accutane, heard too much bad shit.
Besides, if the acne really is hormonal, then wouldn't it appear again after the accutane cycle?

LMFAO
You're scared shitless of accutane because of the bad side effects, but your not scared of suppressing testosterone significantly???
Here, I'll rattle of some side effects of low testosterone for you:
Depression
Loss of libido
Erectile dysfunction
fat gain
muscle loss
Gyno (man boobs)
In puberty:
Short stature
lack of complete development of sexual organs
lack of development of secondary male characteristics
lack of development of male facial characteristics

I've taken accutane. Had no side effects when I got off it the only side ffect I had bad while on it was dry skin
stuff
but I wasn't looking to suppress them significantly, just a little
but that's probably not possible anyways, fine i'll ask my derm about accutane.
I'm still going at it. Just figgered I'd drop so you'd know I hadn't forgotten this stuff. I'm struggling to get over my first hill with the bench press. Today will be the third time I've gone and used to the same weight for that exercise, but this time I should finally be able to finish all five sets. I only missed it by one last time. If I fail for any reason, I'll drop the weight by 10% and go at it again.
Kinda off-topic but how do fellow lifterbrahs deal with acne?
Mine seems to be purely hormonal because no cleansers/cream shit works.
Should I get test suppressors?
I get it really bad around the cheeks/mouth area. Getting up a decent sweat in the gym helps a bit, as well as drinking a lot of water. I go through about 6 litres a day.
i fuckin' jogged to the gym i workout at.
im a beast
The hell, Why do I not have any inner chest, but a noticeably big outer chest (The part closer to my arms).
i believe treating acne is different for every person, peeps told me to just try different brands for 2-3 months at a time, it's annoying because you have to remember to do it once every morning and once a night, sleep on clean pillows/sheets, don't touch your face all day
repeat for 3 months, if that doesn't work, switch to another brand and see how that goes (laaame)
also, moisturize your face after you cleanse with moisturizers and stuff

Switching pillows, face moisturizers everything of that sort is bullshit. Put the shit on before bed and don't touch ze face, easy as that

Gonna deadlift tomorrow, and do some presses with 80 pounds.

"Weight Room rules"
"No squatting barbells behind the neck"
"No one rep maximums"
