Form critique please? I will try to get a full set, but the recorder was acting funny, so decided to do just 1.

Uhh caalmmm down. Just because some lifters look like they're in a rush in a competition doesn't mean you should.
My weight is going up like crazy. I had no idea it would be this easy. When I was younger, my dad always told me that the gym has a way of getting into you, of becoming a stress reliever, a fun hobby, and a huge confidence booster. I didn't buy it for a second back then. I hated the gym, because that's where my Uncle Eric made me do unpleasant shit. My perspective has shifted, a bit. Too bad I didn't know then what I know now; I would be Thor.

I usually try to move pretty explosively, too. I've heard some conflicting reports about whether or not you should move quickly or slowly, but the SL book says that moving quickly, so long as you maintain good form and control, is just fine. Dunno how accurate that is, but it's been working pretty well for me so far! Rhino's form and control both look pretty good to me. He's supporting his back properly, moving pretty fluidly, and he's definitely breaking the plane on his squat. I've got no suggestions, but I'm still pretty new to this myself.

No corrections from my pov.
Good leg drive, no wobbling. Got under the bar tightly, broke parallel.
I'd suggest taking off shoes completely and going more down. Great for your posterior chain and beginners in general.
Aikido is a fucking joke. I mean some of the principles are pretty good... but the majority of the techniques are extremely impractical, especially in real world situations.
The problem with a lot of East Asian martial arts, is there is an assumption that because it is ancient knowledge passed down again and again, it must work. This is flawed reasoning however for a number of reasons, not least the fact that never questioning the information handed down to you or pragmatically testing it is a bad idea.
If you want to learn how to throw people to the ground and apply joint locks, Judo IS pragmatic, is proven and is very practical.
Most of todays martial arts are watered down bullshit made worse through the Culture Revolution in China. If you get a chance to train the real deal and train near the source, then by all means, go for it. For example, Tai Chi was used to train the emperors bodyguards in the 18th-19th century, as well as Baji Quan and Bagua Zhang. But good luck finding someone who doesn't teach some hippy healthcare spiritual easy going crap who claims that this is the actual martial art (if they actually know that once it was a good one...). This shitty dilution is the cause of people viewing traditional martial arts as ineffective. :(

Martial arts is supposed to be partly physical development, yet also mental and spiritual development, including meditation, that's the whole purpose of Kata/forms and many other eastern martial art principles.
These principles have been around for 2500 years, and has roots in the first Dynasty, over 4000 years ago, when the mighty Egyptian civilization was still a few villages on the banks of the Nile. It might be worthwhile for you to consider this before disregarding anything you disagree with as 'hippy healthcare spiritual crap'.
When martial arts were adapted for 'western use' a lot of the main fundamentals were stripped away and replaced with exciting shit designed to be marketed to parents (i.e 'Stop your kid being a pussy!') so that what you get at the end of the day is probably about 1% of what was originally intended to be taught.
Basically when you see a western-trained martial arts practitioner, they will likely be aggressive fighters trying to be the 'best' or 'strongest' which is great for ranks and progression from a western way of thinking and even better for sport/competition.
On the other hand, take arguably incredible fighters, like Shaolin monks. They're not trying to be better than anyone, but they can perform 'superhuman' feats due to the mental strength they've fortified alongside the physical development. It's not a 'sport' nor 'competition' for them, it's a way of life. Do you think the prospect of fame even interests them in the slightest?
That's what you're talking about here, 'winning' at the 'sport' of 'martial arts', which is fine, but then you should probably take up cage fighting or MMA instead if you can't tolerate 'watered down hippy bullshit'.
The health insurances over here employ teachers who don't even know that what they do is a martial art. They think it's a dance or some sorta crap. Yes, martial arts are a holistic way of improving yourself. You work on your health, spirituality AND martial capability. The last aspect is often times either completely missing, or way too small. But back in the days where you actually had to defend yourself, either you trained the non-bullshit version first and acquire good Gong Fu/fighting capability, THEN you think more over the different aspects. Because you don't have to fear death as much as before.
And pleeease don't start with Shaolin Monks. A large majority is only there to do show, not to present the actual martial art. You think they fought with the super jumps and those acrobatic bullshit elements? Those where things you trained to condition your body so don't break your bones while fighting. The real fighting is a lot different.
How would you know wuwei? You live in Germany and I think we can safely say you have never lived in a Buddhist Monastery. Scope5 seems to have a lot of background knowladge on the subject while you have just complained about how you don't like it. Also when you say "back in the day", the people who trained in martial arts started at age 6ish and were well into their late-20s before they even thought of fighting, this enabled them to study not only the kick-ass part of the arts, but the mental clarity of them as well.
TL;DR Scope5 seems to know more than you and I beleive your knowladge is wrong concerning how martial arts were taught in olde China.
uhh guys this thread is about lifting heavy shit not punching people
take it outside
@Ruski First of all, I love martial arts. I really do. It's just that McDojo stuff (<- dilution) makes people believe they can defend themselves when they can't. And "back in the days" you had to work most of the time, so there wasn't really much time left for training.
--
When they "thought of fighting"? Hope you are kidding. I'm not speaking of some fancy tournament, but a few people robbing you as well as wars.
Regardless, I have some experience thanks to my master who teaches Tai Chi so you can actually defend yourself (where you've got to sort out much diluted stuff) and what I posted is just the outcome of some of our talks. But do you really think double back flips, full splits and wobbly blades are used in a fight?...

I didn't mean you shouldn't train explosively, but your squat down took one third of your squat up. Looks like you just dropped the weight down. Try going down slowly and keep that back straight. Try holding the barbell lower behind your back.
I'm the only one in my family making an effort to not be a fat fuck besides my mom on some days. So, I ask my dad what we're having for dinner. "Fried porkchops and gravy." I ask if i can get a grilled porkchop at least, or SOMETHING healthier. He gets pissed at me for being unappreciative and says i need to skip my diet today and just start another day.
Fit life in a fat family = kill me
Tomorrow, i shall do all my squats below parallel.
I just noticed ihave been stopping right above parallel, and feel like a pussy bitch.
Fuck that, time to RE UP ON SOME WEIGHT.
Fuck my legs. I feel like an 80 year old

LOL if you thought i'd eat it. Sandwiches for me, 24/7.
It's impossible to eat healthy at your parents' unless you make your own food or have a will of iron and therefore manage to limit yourself despite the delicious foods your mum makes.
*drools*
My mom cooks whatever I ask her to cook and we eat different meals so it really isn't a problem for me.
Cook? are you part of the russian mob?

Well considering I live ~50km away from the Russian border and both my parents are Russian, da.
I myself think that I'm a Russian-Estonian hybrid though.
You're supposed to feel like a Finnish-Russian hybrid!

I've been in a multilingual environment since birth, that can turn anyone into a polyglot.

That doesn't even sound remotely normal. I seriously hope you're only 12 years old or something.
