You also let people walk all over you.
Im fine with jokes, but if they continue constantly then your not taking jokes, your being a bitch and letting people fuck with you.
So defending yourself from ridicule is being a testosterone filled prick? lol kay pussy.
Okay, you don't know me. And not overreacting does not make one a pussy. Two friends of mine took the piss for about a week, I asked them why, they thought I was acting like a dick, so they took the piss, so I told them I would work on it, and everything went back to normal. If I had gone ahead and shouted at them, that would have made me seem like an ass, and I would have most likely lost them as friends.

My bench seems to be progressing really badly, started with the empty bar, a month later, I only got 40lb more. I asked for some advice from a few guys at the gym, they said that I should try 3x10 or 12 10 8, they said that when I went back to my 5x5 after doing this for a month or two, I would be able to progress a lot faster. Any of you guys got any good advice to give?

My lifting class is doing the 10 12 8 for some reason, and im just sticking to my good ol 5x5
squatting on a smith machine is BS, you're better off doing dumbbell squats
Wut.
My Squat is almost 300 now.
285 (5x5) as of today, I'm going to probobly go on a cut once my squat reaches 300 and my bench reaches about 160.
Goanna start doing dead hangs to get grip strength up.
[editline]9th October 2011[/editline]
Is it really worth to start paying for a gym just because my school only has a smith machine instead of a squat rack?

Another Question, should I get BSN N.O -Xplode? And can it be mixed with creatine monohydrate?
Yes and yes.
N.O xplode owns, and it won't effect creatine at all
My new "program" is already showing progress!
5days a week and weekends are for resting. Every single day after work I visit the gym!
But now I'm afraid, that this constant hunger for the gym will eventually go away and once again it will turn into this "forced" workout. I just hope, that it won't happen :tinfoil:
Also I'm using Whey/Triple protein, creatine and a low-carb and high-protein diet.
Also I have no free-time currently, that could be a little demotivator in the end (I get off work at 5pm, go home and take my dog for a walk, take off to the gym, come back home around 8pm, take a walk with my dog again and then I just go to sleep :suicide:)

Well my body has been able to get through my 5days a week program earlier too, with great results also.
I won't be doing this for the rest of my life, 1-2 months and then I'm going back to 4times a week.
But yeah, I get results and my body is able to take it. Don't really know what you guys are up to, if your bodies/mind couldn't handle my program, well too bad.
I can already tell that your program is a pile of shit
read the sticky

But it works, just deal with it.
Nutting sperm from your ballsack using weights would cause hypertrophy. If you just started, then good for you.
As like, 90% (being generous here) of people on earth, you would eventually hit a brick wall. You will get through that wall when your ego stops getting in the way and blinds you with thousands of exercises you don't need.
The point here is that I have never hit a brick wall with this program (or without it).
And the 5 days of training include 4 days of actually heavy training and 1 day of not-so-heavy-training (Either I don't even visit the gym that day and go cycling, or I just go to the gym and do something "easy" there).
And Seith, what the hell dude? If I gian results with this "utterly bullshit" program of mine, how can it be related to my ego?
Also this program of mine (which lasts 1-2months) always happens to give me better results, but I can't continue longer than that.
I really, REALLY hope, that this won't turn in an utter shitstorm.
took 1 set of 8 on the rowing machine at 50kg (110 pounds)
The others two sets I took 40kg (88 punds)
I can feel the burn

Instead of denying what I say right off the bat, try reading my text.
1. You're trying to deny the fact someone blows you off so hard by giving lame ass excuses and justifications so you can continue doing shit. ("if I gain results, then why is this "utter bullshit" ?) Fact is - you have no clue what you're doing and you're a newbie. The reason your program works? newbie gains = "constant" hunger for gym. Simple deduction here.
2. You have a "working man's" schedule and yet you push more and more workouts even though it is not even fucking nessecary. again, you know nothing, but you still refuse to listen to the advice of 30000000 fucking smart people around you. Being stubborn is good, when you're right and you have done enough research.
3. do I really need to go over the ego part? fuck.
4. obviously you're a newbie continuing on his "minef programzzzz is da best u cannot deny i getz resultz" kids bullshit. You can't say a program is freaking brilliant in 2 months. That's like looking at ground zero in new york saying from barely 10% of the full building foundations and going "this will be bigger than the twin towers".
Shits storms are part of life, accept it.
What's better to use, creatine supplements or protein supplements? I apologize if it's a stupid question I'm not very smart about this kind of thing

stop looking into supplements when you probably don't even know what a weight is.
They both do totally different things, its not like one is better than the other. I'm sure you can do your own research.

Well I've been working out for about 2 months now on and off, and the past month every other day, and I haven't gained a single pound. However I have increased the amount of weight I can lift so I'm obviously seeing results. Altering my diet is something difficult for me to do, so I was hoping supplements would help me add on those extra pounds. Because this is the bodybuilding forum I was hoping for a little advice from you guys.
If altering my diet is my only option, then please tell me. But if I can just add in some supplements I think that would be the best option for me.
I'm currently 150 lbs @ 6'1 (awww ye) and can do 3x10 of 95 lbs. (43kg) I have not recorded my max, or my other weights because I use assisted machines. I understand these are not the most desirable circumstances so I'm looking for any advice I can get :)
A good container of whey will cost like 40$. So take that 40$ and buy raw chicken breasts, brown rice, oats, and milk.
