How do i fucking work out my gay ass looking sides???
if you're talking about your belly sticking out, i started working abs and keeping them tight for long periods of time been doing that since grade 7, now i can basically keep my abs flexed for ridiculous amounts of time
It looks funny because your chest is tiny.
Starting to lose motivation, fuck
It looks funny because your chest is tiny.
ohh thanks for the motivation. At least i'm trying to do something about it. Last year i was like 100 pounds and skinnier than this didn't you say you bench like 80 lbs? well i have smaller arms and chest than you and i bench 115 5x3
Taking honest replies as offending statements isn't a good habit. Just saying.
Taking honest replies as offending statements isn't a good habit. Just saying.
I'm not offended it's just.. I know my chest is small.. why tell me that it is?
My chest is caved in, I have pectus excavatum :suicide: Part of the reason I started working out
I've only been lifting for maybe 3-4 months now and I'm seeing a lot of progress which is good. I'm still trying to get my Bench Press weight increased though, I can only manage about 2 sets of 8 reps with 60 kg before lowering it and I'm really trying to get to that stage where I can do at least 5 reps with 70 kg. I hope it doesn't take too much longer. I might give 70 kg a shot next week to see how many reps I can do with it.
My chest is caved in, I have pectus excavatum :suicide: Part of the reason I started working out
I read that working out can make PE worse by increasing the size of pectoral muscles. I have caved chest as well.
I read that working out can make PE worse by increasing the size of pectoral muscles. I have caved chest as well.
Really? I've heard that it can help a lot, a little, or not at all, but never that it makes it worse. We'll just have to see
Maybe that's because i'm 14 bro :) PS: don't throw a tantrum to every negative comment on your looks.
It's cuz i get alot of negative comments on my looks and I'm just about tired of it. I just turned 15 bro.
Don't want criticism, don't post pics. By putting out pics of yourself, you will no doubt want to hear what other people think.
K, understandable, I'm a skinny as fuck lanky kid. Can we stop now?
What program do you use btw?
I just lift untill i get fucking exhausted. Bench 115 5x3 or sometimes 5x2 when i worked more on my arm. I curl, Do antagonist after i bench, I just basically do a whole bunch of random shit.. I do alot of other workouts other than these.
5x3 means 5 reps for 3 sets right? I don't understand the whole XxY
5x3 means 5 reps for 3 sets right? I don't understand the whole XxY
Yes that's what it means. [sp]But i could be wrong[/sp]
Try out SL5x5. It increases you weights alot, and gets you much bigger fast. i Increased my sqaut and DL by 100 pounds over 6 weeks.
My chest is caved in, I have pectus excavatum :suicide: Part of the reason I started working out
I have it too. I'm creating an army of degenerates. Join me.

D: i usually get really gassed out by low 5x3 should i do lower weight and 5x5 or higher weights and 5x3?
Videoed some of me climbing at the gym. Probably going outdoor Saturday if weather permits. Also, you may want to turn the sound down it's kinda loud and poor quality
Really? I've heard that it can help a lot, a little, or not at all, but never that it makes it worse. We'll just have to see
Yes sir! I'm hoping my escapades at the gym will improve it as well.
Yo, need some friendly advice here... My bench is ridiculously low, and yet doesn't progress at all, I have been benching 80lb for the past two weeks without it getting any easier, shit sucks. I decided I needed to decide what possible reasons there are, and how I can get past this problem. I thought it could either be due to my bad arm ( broke it like 2 years ago and hurts like fuark ever since ), my age, i'm like 14 but I don't see why that would effect anything lol. Or maybe I just have an abnormally weak chest. I decided my options were either to use dumbbells instead, ( I tried this, and I could bench even less that with a BB ) I could use the wide grip bench press machine, with this I could still only do 80lb. I could switch around my rep ranges a little 3x10 or something like that. Or lastly, I could just carry on through this and try to carry on through this to the best of my ability... But it actually fucking hurts, and I can hardly ever get to the last rep. Advice?

Leaving aside technicalities, bench press [standard, more than shoulder width] uses these muscles: Shoulders, Chest, Triceps and a few other stabilizers. Mostly, when you stall, it happens in pairs. You can try and detect the problem easily if, says, bench press and Military press are stalling at about the same time. If bench press is exclusively stalling, you should start analysing where you get stuck on the lift. Is the upper middle or bottom portions of the lift? If you can detect any component using those two simple questions, you could easily fix them by adding assistance. Basic causes for stall would be food, sleep and general overwhelming programs - chest is not getting enough rest, certain reps etc etc. A simple deload might help as well, lower it by 20lbs and start going up from there again with small weight shifts [1kg, 2.5kg etc] about your arm also, 2 years later and you're still having bad pains? check it out bro.
Couple things When I do the bent-over barbell rows, which I've done a couple times, my legs shake a bit. I am not using a heavy weight (50 lbs) and it doesn't seem hard. I've done it a couple times before and I always check my form in the mirrors. Is a minor shake normal? When I squat my friend says my ankles break in a little bit. Could it be because my legs are spread too far apart? There was this dude by our one and only squat rack. Right before we started he came up and asked if we were using it in a strong middle-eastern accent. Then he asked if we were squatting, I assume he thought we weren't because we are skinny 16 year olds. So we started and he just sat down and started shaking violently and throwing his head all around. After our first set we just let him do it because he was being creepy as fuck and went back to it later.
I have it too. I'm creating an army of degenerates. Join me.
I have this too. Idk if its just my normal development, or just how much chest formed after my sternum was cut in two when I was 6
You lucky, sexy bastard, I wish I had a climbing wall near me.
I have one on campus at uni that literally is a ~3 minute bike ride away [editline]13th October 2011[/editline]
I have this too. Here is how I look at it: 1. I'll get ripped, and my chest will appear better. 2. I'll get ripped, but it makes my chest seem worse. But I won't give a shit because the rest of my body will be ripped
