What was your routine before? I recommend doing SS or SL to be honest, if you're a beginner that is.
Started working out last month and I couldn't even bench the 20kg Olympic bar on it's own, now I can bench press double that with good form :D. Feels good.
Good job.
Whose got a big chest around here? Can't remember exactly who I saw flashing it.
Hows this new Routine?
Monday:
Squat 5x5
Barbell rows 5x5
Bench Press 5x5
Deadlift 2x5
Wednesday:
Dumbell flys 5x5
Lat Pulldowns 4x6
Overhead Press 5x5
Cable Rows 4x6
Friday:
Squat 5x5
Barbell rows 5x5
Bench Press 5x5
Deadlift 2x5
I personally replace barbell rows with powercleans, because powercleans are a better overall exercise than rows.
And lat pulldowns= fucking gay.
Replace those with pullups, do around 4-5 sets of 12-15 reps, once you can reach that and finish it, do weighted pullups.
What do you guys do when you get demotivated close to when you're leaving?
I planned to go to the gym in the morning, but couldn't get there until about 3, so I just got all fucking pessimistic, I knew that when I got there the weather would be bad, it would be busy and I would feel shit.

You're asking the wrong question. It's not "what do you guys do". There's no magic solution to problems happening around you, yet you're looking for it.
The question should be, "how can I understand there are troubles and still keep pushing forward" ? that I can help you with.
1st,
you're looking at what is wrong in your day, not what is good. That's not really motivating in itself.
2ndly,
You didn't know any of the things you said, you assumed and believed in that. Think about it - what would happen if you thought the opposite?
You're digging a place for negativity to be in. You think about that alone, feeding that fire and letting it go for hours.
"Those who don't believe in trouble, would soon realize trouble loses interest in them very quickly"
I would add a lot of information for you, but I'm busy atm. Enjoy this exclusive piece for the meantime.

Your nipples
wtf.
[editline]16th October 2011[/editline]
orangatang tits;)
My nipples are stronger than you biceps!
probably are! Good progress mayne.
I just put my pics in stat's thread, ive bulked up pretty quick within 2 months.
woopwoop
Due to being tired as fuark and demotivated, + being a complete retard, I managed to fuck up my deadlift and hurt my back, hopefully a good nights sleep should fix that right up!
On a lighter note, I maxed my ATG squat at 220.
Dropped weigh slightly to 42kgs and am now concentrating on getting solid reps without the leg boost to drive the weigh up. My uppermost chest muscles are seeing progress. If this keeps on I'll look really strange with an alright uppermost chest and with nothing in the rest of it.

I'm 6 months into SL 5x5 and I suck at pullups, I can't get my chin over the bar.
That's because you're doing SL.
Ima start doing hill sprints, jumping rope etc along with my boxing, mma and 5x5, that should aid burning some unneeded fat while i'm bulking up.
I really need to build up my grip strength...
I suggest carrying groceries up the stairs starting at, at least, 2 times a week. Not joking.

What's wrong with lat pulldowns.
I have my own program created by a friend and he says lat pulldowns are acceptable as a replacement for chin-ups (not pull-ups mind you).
not as much stability, they're still good, though
I just feel you get a better workout with lats with wide grip pullups, and chin ups.

Plus pullups for me helped with grip and dlifts surprisingly.
