I'll see this soon. :3: I usually only go see a movie a month though, and I saw Super 8 this month, and Harry Potter next D:
Skip Potter, see this and then go see Captain America.
I found it pretty cool. The action was pretty darn sweet while the romance and actual plot was, as expected, pretty shite, but a definite improvement over the cringefest that was 1, and probably 2 (I haven't seen it but I've heard stuff).
transformers 1 wasnt bad. transformers 2 on the other hand we just wont mention that.
I liked it until they [sp]killed off Megatron[/sp], then I went in to total nerdrage autopilot.
[sp]Megatron's death seemed somewhat anticlimactic. If Optimus could simply tear his head and 'spine' out why the fuck didn't he do it in one of the last two movies?[/sp] Also, Optimus is pretty fucking brutal. Decepticons are like, "lol okay we surrender," and he just blows their faces off instead of taking prisoners.
Transformers:Black Ops
Transformers:Black Ops
lolwut?

Kind of reminded me of War of the worlds, people just getting blasted everywhere and can't do anything about it [/sp]
I can't wait to see this, so that I can walk out of the theater half-way through and ask for my money back.
Well i'm back from the movie and it was awesome, way cooler than the previous two, and man some scenes were so intense like the one with that glass skyscraper. Definetely one of the best summer movie.
At the risk of sounding like a 90's children's show reject, this film was a total snore-fest. Well over stayed its welcome and the hour long action sequence didn't have my full attention past the 20 minute mark, not to mention the lack-luster ending.
what a cluster- I enjoyed this film. Very good action and it barely ever stopped which was great. Fucking amazing CGI. I have respect for the animators.
Also, Optimus is pretty fucking brutal. G-1 got nothin on Movie Prime (in blood thirst)
what's that supposed to mean
Michael Bay blows :)
Go rewatch all the movies, he has an obsession with destroying heads, faces, and ripping, and killing. G-1 got nothin on Movie Prime (in blood thirst)
boom headshot much? also, how dare you blaspheme in here.
boom headshot much? also, how dare you blaspheme in here.
What.
What.
G-1 will always be better than the movies. In every aspect.
I'll still watch the movie either way. Sometimes I feel like my explosions quota hasn't been met since the last Transformers.
G-1 will always be better than the movies. In every aspect.
I said "G-1 aint got nothin on movie Prime (in blood thirst)" Because movie prime is quite the killer, he racked up a pretty good bodycount compared to G-1 prime.
I felt like the first half of the movie was focused on that chick and peoples reactions to her... very boring
Just going to say it, I think the title of this movie is retarded. "The Dark of the Moon"? How does that even make sense? "The Dark SIDE of the Moon" would be okay if they didn't mind the Pink Floyd references. But I mean, if you think about the plot of the movie or whatever it kind of makes sense, but if you don't know the context you go, 'oh hey it's the new transformers movie, y'know, the one with the subtitle that doesn't make sense'. [editline]30th June 2011[/editline]
I felt like the first half of the movie was focused on that chick and peoples reactions to her... very boring
The start of the other two were pretty much the same thing with Shia LeBoring until the transformers themselves actually came into it.
godDAMN that was epic
We won the war! Talks about general war stuff at the end
Guys, what's your favourite transformers(car form). Mine is the SUV and the NASCAR cars. Also, they should just remove the chick. Seriously. They always serve no purpose, other than to FUCKING LOOK GOOD AND SEXY.
I felt like the first half of the movie was focused on that chick and peoples reactions to her... very boring
Gotta please your target audience; the film would've been better as a 15 or 18.
I felt like the first half of the movie was focused on that chick and peoples reactions to her... very boring
Implying you would watch transformers for this. Oh yes.
I'm actually anticipating this film only because I'm a fan of Transformers - and not necessarily the films.... IF that makes sense :P I want to like them, but they seem so predictable and poor.
So was it....good?
just got back from it, i loved it, and that new girl is smokin'
Just saw it, amazing CGI and action, really makes you excited when you're watching it. Sadly the story itself is a bit dull after the initial setup that seemed to hold a lot of promise. I was also amazed at the amount of Star Trek references in the movie, loved how they got Leonard to say "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few" during it. Also that was my first Transformers movie and I knew nothing about it before I went to see it, would go see the next one.
