Because I wouldn't want my kid brother to use drugs... I especially wouldn't want to help him and make it easier for him to obtain drugs.

I've used Silkroad before and it is a hassle, although so is meeting dealers irl sometimes.
Here is a general rule set on how to find users/dealers.
First ask people if they smoke. If they reply "yeah smoke what?" then you have found someone. Any other response besides no offers a chance that they might know where to get some. Many cig smokers know other people who smoke weed as well.
