I'm pretty sure those are generic goals for anyone the age of 18.
I need to do somthing like this but iI dont spend that much time on my computer
I support you man. I am the same way with this one girl but she lives in Houston and I live in Dallas. I practically gave up on her already because of the distance.

I really wish I could do the same thing as you, Greendead... But I've got no motivation, and that is the problem most people have. There is this one girl I really do feel something for, but she does not feel the same so what in your case is hope is depression for me.
OP just made me realize what a pussy i am for not changing
Just let me say this: it's great that you are striving for self-improvement. You should be trying to improve yourself in some way each day, whether it be exercise, reading something new, or meeting new people. It's also good that you have the self-control and motivation to plan to improve. Keep doing both of those things. But DO NOT get hung up on one girl. From personal experience, and other guys I've talked to, it always leads to dissapointment. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the way you're talking about this girl it sounds as if you've made her out to be your one true love. Believe me when I say this is not the case. You're still young, you don't know a lot about the world yet; it can be cruel. I don't want to sound negative, I just want you to be realistic about this. If you think once you accomplish all of these goals that she will be waiting for you with open arms and a loving embrace, well, that simply isn't going to happen. The odds and female emotion are against you. She might have a boyfriend, or just not be interested in a relationship with you anymore. That's just an example. My point is this: accomplish these goals, and continue to improve yourself, for YOU. Don't do it for some girl. Do it for yourself, because it's good for YOU.
Hey, I know a person that went to my school this year whose name was Luka. Are you from Switzerland by anychance?
OP I'm going to stay just the way I am
OP looks like a decent looking guy

I don't know why, but that girl I met few years ago, she really is nice, but I've got a feeling I won't see her again. But I'm still going on and doing the best as I can. School is ridiciously hard atm, so my first priority is school. I'm also working out everyday now, and I'm actually feeling REALLY good. More confident than before. It's hard at the start, but where I am, you open your eyes and see the real life. :D It's great. I'm not finished yet though.

Good on you mate. Have a good day I guess, lol.
I did not abandon you, don't worry. I just have a problem with my school and I need to study a lot. Anyway, here's my newest update: Finished school, BUT I need to finish 1 more thing before I finish it to the end: Chemistry. The most annoying subject you can think of. Anyway, this is my priority right now, after that, I'll search for a job. By the way, it's been 3-4 weeks, since I'm drinking ONLY water and working out. And what's the result? I'm faster, stronger and better looking. It's not something mindblowing, but it's definitely a progress. I can run longer and even faster. I also feel much better than before, more alive. Stick with me people, you are my motivation. :D
Good luck man, i've been in the same situation and fixed it. So can you.
Good luck on your change man I need to change my ways too :frown:
Play this and read please: It's been a year and a half. Sorry for bumping, but I feel I need to finish this thread, because I believe that some people still think about my progress. I made some amazing progress. First of all, I had to let go and forget the girl. She's nice and all, but she just wasn't interested in me. But hey, there's still more fish in the sea, right? So let's see a list of stuff I managed to do: 1. Get a job: I got a job and I have been working at least a year now, from January 2011. People treat me nice and It's a blast to work there. 2. Get a Driver's License: I got a driver's licence in January 2011. I DID NOT FAIL any exams, I managed to complete everything in first go. I'm a lucky and smart man I guess. 3. Get better marks in school: I finished high school and now I'm in college. We have fun almost everyday, I met some new friends, I completed some exams...It's fabulous. Just the way every college student wants it to be. 4. Workout: I managed to lose 10kg(22lbs), but I'm not really interested in losing weight anymore. It will come naturally. I also started to play tennis a lot, but right now, I'm going to the gym. Stupid weather. 5. Reduce playing games and using internet: Every day I sit in front of the computer and I start facepunch. That's it. I'm not playing videogames that much and I'm also selling PS3 at the moment. I've had enough, I've wasted to much time sitting in front of this damn PC and PS3. It's been fun, that's true, but being with other people and experiencing real life is way more fun. Of course if you have a good one. I managed to complete the only goal I was given: Change my life. It's still not perfect, but hey, I'm not in a rush. Slowly everything will fall in place. Thank you for all your support and nice comments, it really gave me a lot of motivation to actually do something. I bet you can do the same. It's not hard really, you just have to believe in yourself that you are able to do it. And don't rush, it won't change in a day. I wish everyone who will try to change their lives good luck. MESSAGE FOR ADMINS, MODS: I would really appreciate it if someone could just snip first reply. He's banned so I don't think he will mind. Thank you.
Congratulations, Greendead. I'm glad to hear you've made progress. It's inspired me, something I really need right now. I'm in the exact same situation as you are. Just started college/university, which hasn't gone as smoothly as I wanted but I aim to change that. Thank you
Good job, Greendead! It's nice to hear you achieved your goal Also, I opened this thread and saw that some people were rated "Bad Reading." I got excited, thinking that it got brought back, but then I realized those posts were from last year...
oh god wrong tab snip
I am really sorry for this HUGE bump, but I created this thread and I feel like I need to update my progress and finish it once and for all. Basically, all my goals are done. I got a full time job at a shoe store as a deputy manager. I have a girlfriend that I have been dating for 2 years already. (No, it's not the one I talked about) I learned to play tennis and It's my favorite sport I ever played. I play it a lot and my body is shaped up like never before. I finished my school with decent grade. It's been one hell of a ride, but now it's time to work. I reduced playing video games DRASTICALLY. I only play on skype with friends, when they are online. Which doesn't happen very often. Ofcourse I got my car license in first try. At the moment, I am the happiest I have ever been in my life. I literally don't need anything else at the moment. I have my girl, I have a place to live, I have a job, I have a life. Thanks to all that supported me. It's been like yesterday when I created this thread. Wow, it's been a ride. I hope you guys also get a chance to make a CHANGE. And sorry again for this bump.
