No, that's the Great Undoing, which is the end of the Trolls' universe and the arrival of Lord English. The Scratch is a massive release of temporal energy unleashed by literally scratching the Beat Mesa with the Quills of Echidna, the only needles potent enough to do it. It's an absolute last-ditch plan, and it temporally resets the session invoking it, and the universe that its players are from, all to give the players a more favorable scenario for success when they do play again. The release of temporal energy is so great though that any entity caught in the Scratch will be completely annihilated, with no remnants left behind for the new universe and session. The players won't remember the session where they failed, as there was nothing left behind. That's the kids' plan for buying time to destroy the Green Sun, so Jack will be forced to leave to ensure his own survival, and the kids will also enter the trolls' session to avoid being erased.
