Well this isn't bad at all. It seems many of our ideas that this Doc Scratch thing would be skimming over everything to 'get it over with' was wrong, at least for now. Seems like a perfectly reasonable way to end that 'fight' without taking weeks of complicated everything.

If Doc Scratch knows nearly everything, then he should be able to easily translate Woegothic tongue. But if Rose is capable of communicating in English, then I wonder why she didn't just engrave her words on the walls of the castle when she met John.

Only one of the Links is though. The Ocarina of Time Link is the Hero of Time. The Wind Waker Link is the Hero of Winds. I'm not sure if the Twilight Princess Link actually has a title stated during the course of the game, but it's most likely either the Hero of Light of the Hero of Twilight.
