Fixed some stuff, even though most of this is a massive stretch, the Heir/Breath/Knight/Seer etc. stuff is probably important in some way or just a red herring.
I think Hussie did say at some point that there are delibarately a lot of similarities between certain kids and certain trolls but no direct counterparts and stuff.

I've seen a couple fanarts depicting Dave as Link against the moon(complete with lil-cal face) saving termina, but he's actually not all that great a fit; Link didn't avoid doomed timelines in Majora's Mask, he exploited them to get what he needed in the alpha like Aradia did during the trolls' session.
