Why the fuck is sociology and psychology in the shit tier? Those kinds of majors are really interesting. I like studying people and social situations. I don't intend to major in them, though. I'm more interested in aeronautics than anything.
Psychology is in extremely high demand, mister, and they make a shitload of money. Militaries all over the world are looking desperately for psychologists, as many soldiers commit suicide from depression/insanity. It really depends on what you do with your degree. Getting a psychology degree to be a school counselor or something like that won't get you far.
Well, you're going to have to get a masters to get a decent job in that field.
I Assume he's talking about useful to society... I'm in college for electrical engineering btw.
I Assume he's talking about useful to society... I'm in college for electrical engineering btw.
Engineers are only useful to society as long as someone builds their shit. And the builders are only useful as long as someone makes their food. And the cooks are only useful as long as someone cleans their kitchen. And the janitors are only useful as long as someone designs their cleaning chemicals and the cycle continues forever. Don't try to claim that one profession is more "useful" than another. If the job exists, it's useful in some way.
Music? Shit tier? Lol.
OP is a nerd [editline]12:04PM[/editline]
Are you me
History is a great degree, I don't think people realise how many different fields of work you can go in to
Actually, I don't think computer science is a top-tier degree.. mostly because you don't actually need to get a degree in order to gain a good understanding of the concepts. There's so much information out in the open - probably more than in any other industry.
OP is a nerd
I'm a nerd and I view this list as idiotic.
All the fun ones are in shit tier.....
All the fun ones are in shit tier.....
pure sciences can be fun!
All the fun ones are in shit tier.....
like library science
Because how much you earn = how good your job is.
Nursing is really big AND CAN GET YOU INTO A LINE OF WORK THAT IS BASED AROUND HELPING PEOPLE!
Law mid tier? Lolno.
Teachers are in the low tier? Yeah, because teachers aren't necessary for others to get college degrees.
Teachers are in the low tier? Yeah, because teachers aren't necessary for others to get college degrees.
But to be honest all the good teachers do a degree in their subject of choice and then learn how to teach. [editline]05:05PM[/editline]
Hell yes we are.
Only a year or so until I start doing the real physics. and then a couple of years until I do the real real physics.
Where would avionics be? I'm just curious as I fix F-15s for the Air Force right now but I'm not sure where I'd go when I get out. I'm stuck between my old love of electronics and my new love of avionics.
But to be honest all the good teachers do a degree in their subject of choice and then learn how to teach.
What if they don't teach a specific subject
I got a shit tier degree in English, mother fucker. Now I'm a college professor. I work Monday through Thursday and average about 30 hours a week. I have my own office with a door. Also, I work about 140 days out of the year, the rest of it I get off, paid. Furthermore, this last week I just started my summer vacation, which I have off, free and clear, until August 16th. If time=money, I'm one of the richest guys alive. You can have your 40-60 hour a week, two weeks off vacation job. Me, I'm fine.
OP took this from 4chan, leave 4chan shit in 4chan and stay out of Facepunch.
Law mid tier? Lolno.
Law has been extremely oversaturated lately.
I got a shit tier degree in English, mother fucker. That still doesn't change the fact that a English degree is still useless for a lot of people
