the Hades Coalition army is one of the few factions with a headshot proof helmet (it will survive one direct hit), there is only one other faction in the game that uses similar helmet (and its not the blues and the dual rifle pierces pretty much any body armor anyway)

This is an interactive and you guys shape the story a lot (hell you already chose the bad guys and skipped experiencing an orbital drop first hand) but in this situation there was still a "wrong" and a "right" direction. If you guys insisted on shooting randomly in the air or going in a nonspecific direction (or just being overly vague) you actually would've lost the outer city area and been forced to fight inside it (which would've had its cool moments as well, but over all a waste of time). I had a "right answer" in my head which was pretty much getting as far away from the drop zone and then shooting the drop pods instead of the drop ships. I was wondering if anyone would think of focusing on the less obvious yet more effective target, but in the end I got a way more kickass answer instead, even if it did remove the snipers from their comfort zone, I find it to be a far better solution.
