Follow the rules and you won't get banned, its simple as that. Think of it like smoking pot, if you're stupid and don't follow the golden rules you'll get your ass busted. If you stick to the golden rules you'll have a blast but stay safe, its that easy. Plus you guys start to bitch over two bans, seriously just deal with it.

or we can not move, too. words: i think that the whole thing behind this is Cjienx's problem with lurkers(which i occasionally share). according to him, random-ass people browse through DD and report for things that would generally warrant a ban in your average GD thread, like image macros(for example chiLL). he's trying to relate that people who don't contribute don't know the kind of posting environment that's present in here, and report out of ignorance or maybe some sort of personal vendetta that they don't air. it's especially present in this thread, as i've seen names that i've never seen before. i don't really mind it right now. members of the community who've been around before us being brought up top are chasing an unrealistic expectation of shit returning to how it used to be. that's not gonna happen. i've noticed a lack of older posters posting and i feel like that's been slowly filled by the influx of new members, that might as well be called a new generation. every new generation will have new rules and shit and that's unavoidable. think of this as one-legged nam veteran's bitching about social security or something [editline]16th September 2011[/editline] idk

You know, at first i was all for the idea of just considering the circumstances of the ban, like if he was PUI when he posted a nfsw or macro that his ban time should be less. But now its become, "DD should be immune to everything because drugs makes us dumb sometimes" and thats just stupid. Its just as retarded as being caught and pulling out the PUI card saying how you were drunk or high when you actually werent, just to avoid getting banned. Its just like the 'being chill' argument how people say something stupid or ignorant and try to avoid an argument by saying "aw cmon guys i thought you were [I]chill[/I]". I know im switching sides here, but this reasoning is ridiculous. Why the fuck would we leave here for? We have all that we need, Addicts lounge, Drug Discussion, Drug Comics, and all of the informative threads about other drugs. This part is even hidden from non facepuncher users. We've dealt with the rules fine this whole time and i think we are the best forum at it. Lets just keep it that way and we wont have to deal with mods.

it seems some are under the impression that we think that because we do drugs we think we are cool, rebellious and do not need moderation. the simple fact is that regulars here don't care at all if a person posts a single image macro or a single nsfw image. i understand that the decision is pretty much already made, but stop being so judgmental about our reasons for wanting less moderation.

shitposts, image macros, etc. are all once-in-a-while things here. even if this forum were to be completely unmoderated, there would be a minimal amount of said posts. this is because most people here are regulars and are able to go with the flow of the standard facepunch quota.

I think most of the DDer's, or at least the regulars are past the image macro/meme portion of their life.

One thing you need to realise is that DD isn't just here for your little community. It was made for FP users, to talk about drugs. Sure, the community has popped up, but that still isn't the point. It's not your sub-forum, nor can you deviate from normal FP rules. PUI is different, but everything else?
