A classmate of mine committed suicide today because of bullying - General

People that kill themselves over stolen iPods or breakups are going through such an immense level of intolerable pain that suicide is completely justified. Yes, because depression [I]makes[/I] you kill yourself, you have no control over it, it's just a mind controlling parasite that forces you to hang yourself against your own free will. At the end of the day, suicide is a conscious choice. Comparing it to cancer, something entirely involuntary, shows that you don't know nearly as much as you think you know. Mmkay kiddo. It might influence decision making but it does not make decisions. No matter how ridiculously hammered I get, I won't get behind the wheel of a vehicle, because alcohol only influences decisions, it doesn't make them. Chemical imbalances do not make you do things.
