Wore purple today, wearing purple tomorrow.
The only valid reason for him killing himself would be that he was never going to finish school and go there for the rest of his life, which he wasn't.

When you're bullied by a bunch of people for something you can't help, you can't usually think very rationally. It's just like depression, which is most likely involved too; you don't know what it's like until you actually experience it, then you finally understand why people would kill themselves to escape from it.
Well, this was his way I guess, not the best way, but I guess some people choose this. Not sure why though.

That's his best friend in the entire world. She's extremely heartbroken. They even pulled her out of class after it happened so that she would not hear the news from another student.
Sorry to hear about that.
Oh, and fuck those who try to make jokes about this. Somethings just aren't funny.

I'm sorry to hear . Condolences to her goes out, i couldn't imagine that feeling, /:
he should of body slammed the bully like that casey dude
What don't you get?
Why he chose to deal with his bully by suicide, I don't get it.
Never had any problem with people bullying gay people at my school its kinda opposite. Being on the football team means you dont get high fives you get ass slaps, tit grabs and other bro things
Why he chose to deal with his bully by suicide, I don't get it.
It's because they don't want to suffer anymore. Their only release, in their mind's eye is suicide.
Are aliens gay?
Yes. All of us are huge homosexuals.
On a serious note, those bullies really make me sick. Who the fuck does that? I mean really, are people still this goddamn close-minded?
constant bullying because he was gay.
Selfish, that suicide is. But this is a damn shame, no one should have this done to them. :ohdear:
If I could go CaseytheBEAST on them, I would.
My school wasnt all that bad. There were plenty of gay kids around, but they werent bullied or anything. There wasnt any racism, hardly any fights at all.
This is terrible. Ill see if i can find anything purple.

sometimes people kill themselves so that they can cause feelings of guilt to others
in this case, the bully is going to live the rest of his life with the mental burden that he indirectly killed somebody
I honestly don't care about gays.
I don't mean that in the negative; they don't make me think different or anything. I see them as normal people. So I have no opinion on them and accept them as who they are.
Come to think of it, I have two gay friends. As long as they don't come on to me or anything, I'm completely fine.
Some special ed girl tried to kill herself and asked everyone if they had scissors..
I posted on the wall that I am thinking of making a video to support gay rights, and mentioning this case as an example. Should I?
I just noticed, but I guy I go to school with is now attending the event.
ITT sheltered 12 year olds attempt to understand suicide and fail with hilarious results
I'm probably in a minority here when I say that I consider suicide selfish, but I do. I mean I find it absolutely tragic when someone kills themselves, and while I mourn them and the things that brought them to it, I can't find myself to respect their decision.
Suicide just leaves too many loose ends. Parents, siblings, friends, teachers... anyone who has known the person more than a mere acquaintance will now look at where this person was, and all they'll see is an empty space. People will mourn, people will hurt, and people will be in states of misery for an amount of time as a direct result of the person's suicide.
You can try and justify it with clinical depression or emotional oppression or whatever you want, but every day there are people who are in far worse situations than the person is - chronic rape victims, abused children, minorities in third world countries who basically have everything but their own lives taken away from them. While some of these people undoubtedly to commit suicide, a number of them don't - and either way, their situation was far worse than, let's face it, a kid being bullied in high school.
So while I mourn his suicide, I hope the best for everyone who knew him, I feel nothing but resent for those who brought him to this ultimatum, and I wish things didn't have to end the way they did, I can never respect his decision. There are far worse things than being bullied in high school about a sexual orientation.
That's your argument? That people will feel bad because of the death and that people in some foreign land are in a worse state? Do you even comprehend that depression is not a simple variable in a person's life but rather a very complex and emotionally destructive process? Do you comprehend that you cannot simply compare two entirely different individuals living in different environments and having a whole different life story and attempt to rate their lives on an objective scale? I don't give a shit if a person is a rich kid from Washington D.C or a poor village child from Africa, they are both susceptible to the destructive effects of depression and placing a VALUE JUDGMENT on their condition is absolutely dumb?
No, you don't realize that. You are just as ignorant as the other individuals in this thread, but you try to cover it up in some pseudo-pity/sympathy. Give me a break.
i wore green today because i didnt know about this.
fun fact. now you will never remember you read this post.
Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
I find it unfortunate that events lead to this kid thinking suicide was the answer, but if he couldn't handle school bullying, he was going to have a much rougher time in the real world. As terrible and heartless as it sounds, suicide is a very pure form of natural selection. People with thin skin never get very far in life, wearing your heart on your sleeve and letting something as simple as words cause you distress is nothing but weakness.
Sure, people get depressed. However, most people find a way through it. They seek help. Regardless of whether you're depressed or not, suicide is not okay by any means. It isn't justifiable and it must be realized that at the end of the day, the kid is the one who killed himself, not the bullies.
Shit OP that sucks dick.
I know thirteen gay people, they aren't being bullied, but I'm in England, so it may be different, people should learn to accept it, or fuck off.
