No, it's his sister.
She even calls him dad
I stopped watching Weeks when it was revealed that the mother had survived.
Well that was stupid.
It could of been better
1st one: Epic. I can remember seeing the trailer years back when I was young and thinking "Fuck me, it's that scary its probably plausible"
2nd one was complete shit. The downfall of the second fim was that after it was released, "In a house in a heartbeat" was fucking EVERYWHERE.
Also
This mini series was on the collectors edition for 28 weeks later. Unfortunately these shorts are astoundingly better than the main feature

These films are in my Top 10 of apocalypse films.
No doubt about that.
What got me in weeks was [sp]how they have all this security and shit guarding the civilians, and they're in a super underground defense place, and the guy goes THROUGH THE BACK DOOR and infects them all. I mean, what the fuck?[/sp]
I liked both movies... and I hated the Week's cliffhanger ending :bang: Will there be a 28 Months later?
I loved 28 Weeks Later thought it was a great film
Seen about 10 mins of 28 days later its on my "To watch" list :D
*EDIT* Im new hello :P

Hi
I'm sorry, haters, but Weeks has Jeremy Renner. Therefore, you're wrong.

Was unique in that the infected arent the real villain/plot element.

See any of the Romero zombie Movies pre-Diary.

I hated that too; but besides that I actually liked the movie a lot. I agree with Townshend on the silliness of the military base in 28 Days and for that reason, I like Weeks more.

Jeremy Renner can't act, stop kidding yourself.
One of the guys in the OP's vid looks extremely like dr Rush from Stargate Universe, is it the same actor?
Jeremy Renner can't act, stop kidding yourself.
I disagree. I think he's the next Bruce Willis in terms of awesome.
Also, I bite my thumb at you for saying that, good sir.
loved 28 Days Later, but 28 Weeks Later just seemed to drag on. Was cool though when[sp]they took the helicopter's blades and mowed down the zombies[/sp]

Yep, Robert Carlyle.
Funnily enough, SGU caught my interest when I saw him in the end scene during the premiere, "Was that the guy from 28 Weeks Later?"
To me, both films were great.

Oh good, I'm not alone then.
I wasn't aware that there was a '28 days later' and a '28 weeks later' so I can't remember which I saw, and now I want to see the one I didn't. But I'm scared to click spoilers!
Is 28 weeks later the one where the sniper is scanning buildings and sees a couple fucking?

Yep.
28 weeks is indeed meh. It had no real build up, it was just... more zombies.
Also there's definitely a sequel under way...

28 weeks is sereously brutal scared the crap out of me. but 28 days later is the best zombie movie ive ever seen
I liked 28 Days Later up until they go to the military base. I felt it got silly after that.
28 Weeks Later was good. I enjoyed the entire movie, however not as much as the first half of 28 Days Later.
I hope you are joking it was fucking brilliant
It's a perfect example of exactly how we would react.
why does everyone hate on 28 weeks later, I absolutely loved it.
the whole "back door thing" can be explained though you might disagree.
I thought that rushing all the civilians to that basement wasn't exactly coordinated - the zombie breach inside of their facility caught them completely off guard. It was probably a quick decision made by someone who was distracted by uhh, well a zombie outbreak. It was a large basement and as we saw, there was no military personal already stationed down there. They were probably unaware that a back door existed - or didn't think much of it. Who the fuck would guess that the zombie would make his way down to the basement and stumble across a back door anyway? Everyone was distracted with the endangered safety of their own lives.
You gotta remember that it was a post-zombie infectious world, people don't think perfectly straight when they are the last thread of humanity left alive - especially during the first outbreak in months.
I disliked 28 Days Later.
Was kinda boring to me, the only thing I liked about it was the soundtrack.
28 days is awesome, 28 weeks sucks.
You expect me to believe that two civilians make it out alive but the soldier doesn't?
Watched days yesterday, weeks today.
They are pretty cool, but the part that such a big army couldnt handle the zombie situation sounds unrealistic for me.
Also, before he killed his wife, he couldnt get out of the room, but after he could instantly...
In real he would be trapped and they would kill him, end of story.
Also, I hated that the father in days didnt explain where he got that suit from :V
