How do you make a fucking sequel to 300? They all died. That was the whole point of the story.
Original post has been updated.

So then this semi comes and it's all like CROOOSSSHHHHH!!
I actually want to see Spider-man 4. And I like the saw series (haven't watched 6), but I thought it was going to stop at 6, now it's going to get crappier and crappier

The movie James Cameron wanted to make the whole time
Based on Gunnm
Avatar is a test to see if technology is good enough to make it
It's what everyone should be exited about
To be honest, I'm just glad Cameron is back to directing.
Pirates 4
Say what you like about the Pirates franchise, but you can't deny Cap'n Jack Sparrow is a brilliant character. I hope Barbossa is in it, and I hope Orlando Bloom isn't.
Also, Transformers isn't that bad, calm down.
Added a few of the VG movies. I've got a list of originals and low budget films in the works. Some of these sequels and remakes are sickening.
I liked indiana jones 4 so 5 should be good.
Oh go ahead rate me dissagrees and dumbs i don't care i liked it.
New alien film too, holy shit do want.
When the fuck is Sin City 2 coming out god damn it.
It's been too long already.
theres a Jackass 3 coming out!!
Judge Dredd... Seriously?
Bay mentioned in an interview that he wants to keep the transformers on earth so that the humans don't become redundant completely, the same reason why he isn't going to introduce unicron into the mix.
Oh you boner michael bay. Unicron is my favorite transformer. Enjoy sucking at life.
I only liked the first one.
Ridley Scott's original, it was partly inspired by my hometown!
you didn't like aliens?
honestly
oh
my
god

yourself
ahhhgjj
[editline]06:16AM[/editline]
no seriously you have to be kidding me if you dont like aliens
I would gladly spend 5 years is jail if it meant I could ass-rape Michael Bay with a rusty knife and have him never make a film again.
Damn You, George Lucas
Last week, a friend of mine messaged me with various clips from the remastered version of Return of the Jedi. What followed was a heated, two hour argument regarding which version is better and why. I figured this would be a good place to debate the same topic. If anything, it will give me another reason to yell at those of you who take his side.
Hey buddy, this remastered scene is fantastic! It's so much better than the original.
No, you twatwaffle. Everything Lucas "remastered" went to shit. The original versions cannot be dethroned.
I understand that the new generations may not appreciate the original Star Wars movies. The technology then (even though it was cutting edge) just isn't what some of these new aged brats are used to. No matter how many times you watch the original trilogy, it still holds a special place in your heart; those bad animations and wild puppetry feel so normal. It's creative, artistic, and downright awesome. Unfortunately, Lucas took his masterpiece and mutilated it with gratuitous amounts of CGI.
You should know that I'm an advocate for new technology and I support everything that ILM does -- Pirates of the Carribean was visually epic. However, when you take that new age CGI and you plaster it over original film footage, it just doesn't blend. It takes away from the feel and the tone of the movie. I explain my argument like so: Wall-E is thrown in to the plot of a classic Donald Duck cartoon. Could you watch this clip and not feel cheated?
It's also important to note that the original movies were edited and re-released numerous times to coincide with the new prequels. Try reading through those changes without punching your monitor.
Here's two more clips to fuel the fire:
Return of the Jedi (Original)
Return of the Jedi (Remastered)
Don't touch the classics -- let them resonate.
What do you think?
What else? Oh yeah, Leonardo DeCaprio is making a live action AKIRA, WETA might be doing the special effects for an Evangelion live action film, if it ever gets out of development hell
:geno:
Every single movie on the OP's list is either a sequel or a remake.
What the hell happened to Hollywood?

It's like facepunch, /b/, most forums on the net (I blame web 2.0 bollocks, but that's a whole different rant), the newfag directors keep reposing the same crap and the oldfag directors are just as bad because they don't come up with any original IPs themselves.
Oh, and nobody wants to take risks with new IPs, money money money
Um I don't think there can be another Bourne, everything came to a conclusion in the end, the bad people were taken care of, the good people lived, Bourne swam off, and there's nothing to continue the story on.
Also, Lethal Weapons 5? BS.
Bad Boys 3? Doubt it.
Echo.
These movies are listed because the general population will probably buy tickets -- it's that simple. Let's try and transition to some actual movie discussion. The original post will be updated as titles change and news rolls in.
I want to see a new ghostbusters, but NOT made by Michael Bay.

That's gonna fail like that "Dragon Ball Z" movie that came out a few months ago.
Anime and Hollywood DON'T mix, PERIOD!
A Gears of War movie? I'd hate to be the cleaning crew after that...

I'm sure somewhere inside some director's head, there's an idea of making a Crysis movie... :/
EDIT: Why the Disagree?? After all, a Doom movie came out -IMO super retarded movie-, why not Crysis?
Can't wait for the Alien prequel.
There's also a sequel to Spawn and a remake(I think it's a remake) of The Crow coming out in 2011.
Spawn 2
The Crow
Add 'em to the OP, will ya?
No Mention of Tron: Legacy? Blasphemy.
