I don't see Kick-Ass on that thread, boyo.
The Zack Snyder film, the highest-grossing March release ever, was based on Frank Miller’s graphic novel about King Leonidas and his doomed army of Spartans; Miller is preparing a follow-up now titled “Xerxes,” which begins about 10 years before the events of “300,” and Snyder has expressed interest in it as a film property as well. “It’s the battle of Marathon through my lens,” Miller said Wednesday. “I’ve finished the plot and I’m getting started on the artwork.
LA Times - Entertainment Edit: Robin Hood - Trailer (Apple), Trailer (Embed) Awesome.
No Mention of Tron: Legacy? Blasphemy.
I seriously need to watch the original Tron at some point.
I'm going to see Avatar on Friday
Alice in Wonderland - Trailer 2
Actually apart from CGI, all the latest remakes are bad.
Not an upcoming movie as it's already released but [REC] 2. It came out the day this thread was made. But then again, there are no subtitles and not available in most countries.
Tron might be watchable, if only for the soundtrack.
this is why I watch indie films :smug:
- 300 doesn't deserve a sequel, it was mediocre overall.
what you say it might spawn another great meme
what you gonna do, what you gonna do when they come for you Bad Boys 3 YESSSSS
Explosions! Yeah!
Is this list based on speculation that Bay will be the director? I mean it seems like most of these movies are seeking directors. Like Spiderman 4, shouldn't Sam Raimi be directing instead of Bay?
Is this list based on speculation that Bay will be the director? Like Spiderman 4, shouldn't Sam Raimi be directing instead of Bay?
What? "Damn you, Michael Bay" was an intentional pun on the announcement of a third Transformers movie. Why would you think that Bay was somehow attached as director to the listed movies? Wipe the slobber from your chin and try again.
Alice in Wonderland - Trailer 2
God DAMMIT Tim Burton
Only ones I'll probably see will be Star Trek Sequel and Iron Man

Is the film a CGI and explosion clusterfuck? Bay would be the best choice for that.
Saw VII? Stop. Please, stop.
That's gonna fail like that "Dragon Ball Z" movie that came out a few months ago. Anime and Hollywood DON'T mix, PERIOD!
Well, I've got my hopes on these ones. DeCaprio is apparently a huge fan of AKIRA, any fan wouldn't fuck with the source material (although I heard he's changing the setting form Tokyo to New York, which would fuck me off supremely). Evangelion's being directed by the original creator, and it's WETA! Richard Taylor is a huge Eva fan to boot. The only bad omen Ive seen is in the early concept art for character designs, they've changed the plugsuits, bodytypes and names of the main characters. That's a big no-no. If they're going to do it properly they need Sadamoto as supervising art director
Ehh fuck
It's like facepunch, /b/, most forums on the net (I blame web 2.0 bollocks, but that's a whole different rant), the newfag directors keep reposing the same crap and the oldfag directors are just as bad because they don't come up with any original IPs themselves. Oh, and nobody wants to take risks with new IPs, money money money
What an amazing explanation, You have a point.
What the fuck, Bad Boys 3. Sorry, but there isn't much more information than a supposed sequel for Bad Boys coming out. What else do you think should be added to Terminator? Robot tigers? Another all-out war? More shit? No. The Terminator series should be done. Eh. The one that survived went back to Sparta, amassed an army of 10,000, and fought the Persians in the following year. The Spartans won, big whoop. I wonder what they would call it, though... "10,000" would make sense, but no one would really get into it. "300: Part 2/300 2" wouldn't make sense, since there are more than 300 soldiers :l God dammit, Michael Bay.
That never even happened.
No more Indiana Jones movies please god.
You forgot the new Karate Kid with Jackie Chan and Will Smith's son.
No more Indiana Jones movies please god.
I haven't watched the new one yet; I have no need to ruin movies I hold dear.
Tron Legacy actually looks really good. Also, Daft Punk Soundtrack fuck yea.
This is like a list of movies that really don't need sequels.
Alice in Wonderland looks pretty cool.
Saw VII? Stop. Please, stop.
This MANY MANY TIMES THIS.
Fuck me, I am looking forward to a BioShock film.
