Yea pretty much.. make sure you wear conservative colors to court. When I went to my arraignment, the first thing he mentioned was my attire, literally.
He called me up and was like "First off, thank you for dressing appropriately to my court room, I appreciate that."

as bad as it was getting caught by parents its nothing like being caught by the police, id take parents anyday i learned by lesson when i almost got arrested when it comes to smoking in public, now i keep it at home.
Talk to your lawyer about getting a pretrial diversion. I got one when I was arrested at 14 and at 18. Just have to complete your probation and the charges get dropped. I got 6 months the first time and two years this time around. You Should be able to get one if this is your first arrest, assuming they have them in your state. I'm from TN so I don't know about NC.
