never really minded needles, i get routine tested for tb at work via mantoux test and got all my shots when i was younger.
only needle-like thing that ever bothered me is when i donate blood and they prick my finger for the hematocrit check. shit hurts way more than the big ass needle that's in your arm for a while.
Yeah that flat bladed thing they use fucking hurts. Doesn't bleed that bad, so that's nice.
Good work kid, now for some Mcdonalds! :D
Shit, am I the only one who's never cried during vaccinations and having blood samples taken?
am I not normal?
I always hated getting vaccines as a kid because I always ended up getting really sick for a week or two, and my armed swelled up and shit.
Kid's a boss.

I like it.
I never had a problem getting shots, donating plasma is easy. Some people think I just have a big ol track mark though sometimes.
Needles are my worst nightmare. Doesn't help that I have to get an injection every week. That on top of vasal vagal syncope means cold sweats, vomiting, passing out. I wish I wouldn't get anxiety every time I think about getting shots.
I never had a problem with needles, even when I was little. When I got my first vaccine everyone around me was like "don't be scared, be brave!" and I was like "ok". I do occasionally get a nurse that manages to leave my arm sore for a few days though.
This kid is pretty brave though. A lot of kids don't take it that well when it's only one shot, but this one took 3 and cried very little.
I became famous at my Pediatrician's office because I was such a scared stubborn little shit when it came to needles / vaccinations. When I was little I would run out of the office as my doctor would enter with needles, I'd run all the way down to the other end of the hallway and lock myself in the bathroom until either my mother or doctor would bribe me out.
What a champ. When I got my vaccinations, I cried like a bitch
The worst part about vaccines isn't the needle, it's the pain after. I got my HPV shot somewhat recently and had to take 3 doses over a few months. By the third time it was like I took a speed ball to the injection sight it was so damn sore.
Otherwise, needles don't bother me at all. Give blood regularly, guys.
