The fourth panel of todays comic has the loveliest of faces.

These panels make me think of Hentai. Gross.

She looks lovely in the fifth one. Not sarcasm, really. Just... cute.

I think what it was to show was that she was wrestling with her sexuality, and that the previous comment made by Paz had unnerved her enough that she became apprehensive about being so friendly with Annie, since she didn't identify with being lesbian but, of course, didn't know for certain herself, since her only romantic experience with men would be the bird dude, which didn't work out well. At the end of the chapter she sorta shakes off that notion it seems and she grows comfortable with being so friendly again, the issue of her sexuality not being resolved, but being a moot point as well since she's not really attracted to annie. She doesn't need to decide now since she isn't attracted to anyone and has as long as she wants to choose. What I was more interested in was that I thought that Annie might has Asperger syndrome. I mean if you really think about it her cold personality and way of interaction, even towards those she loves such as Kat or Robot, could simply be her not understanding what is an appropriate emotional response to a given situation. Granted, she knows mentally what is the correct course of action to take, as shown when she tries to save robot, or attempts to help the woman at the bottom of the valley, but she seems to have a hard time reacting to social situations and doesn't necessarily understand why she's doing them, like with Reynard's confrontation of schoolwork or her attempting to emotionally wound Jack. Additionally, her focus on the supernatural could be described a fixation, as most of her other studies go unfinished and unattended to. Of course, this could instead be explained away that she was forced to harden at a young age, therefor learning not to show her emotions consciously (as shown in the newest update) and that her lack of social skills are due to a lack of exposure to other children. I looked too much into this fucking webcomic.
