I don't think human civilization will collapse ever. Humans might stop existing because we evolved past homo sapiens or "uploaded" our consciousnesses to more capable bodies (robots for instance) or maybe we stop reproducing for some reason and our AIs will replace us.

Civilization will never come to an end. If we blow ourselves up there will still be successors to our destruction.
By the time the sun explodes we're going to be long gone from this world, so I don't see what difference it makes.
And when the Reapers show up we'll have Shepard so it's no biggy.
